The workers were very kind and gave us our menus straight away. I got one of the BEST bacon and eggs on bread I’ve ever had. I would seriously recommend for breakfast!

I like to check out local places to eat when travelling. This Cafe was a five minute walk from hotel. Menu is small with good options. Service was excellent given new staff of students. I had the eggs & bacon on toast (no sausage extra available) but go to dish is corn fritters with extra serve of poached eggs.

The people here were lovely. The coffee was nice aswell. The eggs Benedict with bacon was really good. Perfectly poached eggs, the bacon was well cooked and the bread was nicely toasted too. The mushroom toast however was amazing. The goat curd complimented the mushrooms deliciously, and to top it off, the tastiest halloumi I’ve had at a cafe in ages.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here today. The food was excellent, the wait staff were awesome and the chef was extraordinary, well travelled, knowledgeable, handsome and debonair😎!!

Potentially the best eggs Benedict (with salmon) that I’ve ever had. Coffee was also great. Hollandaise sauce was cafe made not bought. Just beautiful

Stopped by for breakfast and had exceptional meals. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict & Marinated Halloumi. One of the best breakies we had eaten in a long time, classic cafe meals done excellently and good coffee

Cafe Mondello, an oldie but a consistent goodie in the area.
My local for many years, and never a bad coffee.
The Chefs Paul and James are willing to accommodate any dietary requests or menu queries within reason.
Try the Poached Pears, or Black Beans dish for a flavour bomb!

This always is my number one breakfast place in launceston. I forgot to take pic at the orange cake, but that is a must!!
We had French toast again, the toast was insane, we can finish it without anything else. The egg flavor is strong in the toast, it never let me down. It was very filling as well.
On the other hand, I am not a fan of the bean, next time I will do my dish, avocado smash instead. It was a bit sour, which I don’t really like. And that’s too much to have beans and toast in the same plate.

Delicious & good portion raspberry blondie & smoked salmon with egg. Excellent almond latte that tops it all. Great smiley service. Overall the best cafe in Lanceston!
