Very impressed with this business. Twice now ordered from them. Each time, delivery was super fast. In this last example, I submitted my order on Sat lunchtime, and my order arrives in Melb on Mon morning. Excellent range also, and at reasonable prices. I no longer can see any reason to go to the big green monster (aka DM)

Have purchased wines from Winestar and Bert for 20 years. Great range of wines and something for everyone. Pricing is competitive and on the mark. Great service and fast to follow up if something is not quite right.
If I had to buy from just one online store , Winestar would be the one

Set a budget for Halliday rating of 95 to 97 and only buy when you get offered a wine within you budget. The store has a email news letter sign up for it and let them find you great wines at great value. I look for red wine with 96 points at less than $33 and 97 at less than $60. Buy by the doz and free delivery.

I've been a customer of these guys for... a long time - maybe 5 or 6 years? I have learnt to trust the language of the weekly emails - or the "weekend specials".
They sell their wines well - good spiels - but sometimes Bert will use language like "back the truck up" and you know that this one is a cracker. I have bought many dozen on this promise and have never been disappointed.
Oh, and if he writes "this won't last long" - he's usually right. I've sometimes got the email in the morning but not had the time to read it until after work. I click on the link, almost salivating, and a picture of the bottle comes up with "Out of Stock" in red next to it.
When I share a nice dinner with friends, I'm sometimes asked where I buy my wine. I always recommend Winestar to my friends - and I do for you too!

Fantastic service and selections

I have used Winestar for a number of years and found them to sell high quality wines at very reasonable prices. Since July 19 they have changed their policy to require a minimum of 3 bottles of wines for anything under $25 - very inflexible given the value of a case of wine may still be high. I suggest you go elsewhere if you want to mix and match.

not good but very good

Went with the Star premium delivery service (at $15) expecting the high quality specialised wine service promoted on the website but instead had a P-plated driving turn up around midday and hand-over the cartoon out of the boot of his small sedan in 30 degree heat. I had no prior warning of the delivery (tracking didn't seem to work). He indicated he was from "anonymous freight". Nothing premium about this service, in fact you would be better off sticking with Australia Post (or even the free delivery service if Fastway is any good now). Hopefully the wines will be OK.

Do not ever order through winestar, I cannot warn people enough, they will incorrectly process your order and then turn it around on you, they are dishonest, rude and arrogant
