East Charlton Hotel

Greg and Leanne were so welcoming. They took the time to speak with us and they were all smiles after what was a very busy day for them. We only stayed for a drink but will have a meal next time we go through. Thanks for the hospitality!

I did not rate the rooms as I stayed elsewhere on my 24 hr Charlton stop over.
This pub is awesome. I felt right at home immediately seated at the front bar. Lesley helped me locate friends in the area I had not seen for 30 years and this led to them joining me at the hotel for dinner. Delicious pub food. Served by friendly efficient staff. The EC would be my regular if I lived in Charlton. Great credit to Greg and z Leanne who own it. Thankyou.

We stopped for late lunch on our way to Swan Hill. Corn beef was on the menu and it was quite tasty and only $15. Staff were very nice and attentive eventhough it was close to 2pm lunch cutoff. The cafe has been renovated and is totally different to the rest of the hotel in which the original and very quirky Spanish inspired interior has been retained. Interesting hotel to have a look at.

Great, well priced lunch with a clean beer and friendly staff.

Just had lunch. OMG, fabulous. It's always been a good feed, same chef/cook as before. But on this cooler day a chicken snitz with the Turf sauce hit the spot. And HE had the rump steak with veg, said it was perfectly cooked for his order of medium to well. One of the best he's had. As a late birthday lunch with a lovely Hesketh Cab Sav, nice friendly efficient staff, couldn't ask for more.

Stopped in for dinner at this great pub. We ordered an eye fillet served blue, and it was delicious! The staff are very friendly too. We'll be back.

Stayed at rv free camp site behind hotel. Clean with great lighting for courtyard BBQ tiolets and library. Meal in hotel was great and came with BUTTER & bread roll.

Visited for lunch, and had a lovely, appropriately sized meal. The service was quick; the staff were beautiful. Friendly and very helpful.
My friend and I shall be back again!!

We ate at the cafe. It was all tasty!

Great service, staff always on the ball and asked us if we would like another drink.

The rump steak I ordered was cooked perfectly rare and the sides were perfect as well.

Great food, great staff..

Great ambience and happy, friendly staff. The interior is amazing and a reminder of the style, design and layout of the original pub. Puts to shame some over renovated, soulless metro disasters. Stay for one more pot!

Stopped overnight at the Travellers Rest Caravan park 6/1/23. Pub was a 5 min walk.
The food was delicious and the staff were lovely, definitely recommend this hotel. stuff

What a great pub.. staff really pleasant food was tops and the beer was cold.
