Godfather's Pizza

We enjoyed our dinner tonight. Cozy little restaurant, friendly service & popular with locals. Loved our pizzas, prawns & rice 😋 perfect stop before heading into Williamstown beach. Fresh, cheesy & it’s gotta be in the sauce!

Godfathers Pizza has been my go to for many years. By far the best pizza in the area. The service is great and I highly recommend the sujuk pizza, vegetarian, seafood and Godfathers (depending on what you're protein preference is).

I have never felt the need to do a food review until now. Although located in a dark industry quiet area (adding to the theme of the restaurant name in a way), once inside you see a modern & clean interior, greeted by friendly staff by your name (assumed from Pickup time no doubt) with a relaxed atmosphere you decide to eat in rather than take away.

Thing is, the food is so amazing, it would be wrong to not enjoy the fresh and perfect taste they have somehow perfected. Although not exactly local, this is my new local.

100% recommend.

, but delivery driver today what a joke calls me to tell me he's arrived and in black car I say the door is and am interrupted to hear yeah I know , to which I then have to walk to him to get my pizza that I paid to be delivered and maybe these drivers think that means that but I'm pretty sure it asks your address to deliver too the customer not close and then you need to collect

First time eating from here last week and I will be back. We got the super special (supreme), the Capricossa, garlic bread and drink. It was topping overload (in a good way!), nice base and cooked superb. Great service as well. The lovely lady on the counter told me to be back in 15 and it was there straight from the oven when I got back. Garlic bread was tasty and the pizzas were delicious. Found it value for money.

The quality of the food is above exceptional. The Chicken Parma is made using actual chicken breast, not processed meat and the Bolognese sauce is by far the best in Melbourne.

I certainly recommend Godfathers either by Eat in or delivery via Menulog or UberEats.

I have tried their Chicken Parma, Spaghetti & Penne Bolognese, Hawaiian and cheese pizzas and Scotch fillet steak which was delightfully topped off with tasty pepper sauce... I should also mention the chips are great, a serve of ships comes with the Parma and Steak dishes.

I'm a regular customer here and I have never been disappointed.

My favourite place for Chicken Mushroom parma with veggies and wedges. Everything about the dish is delish! Mushroom sauce is so good and rich in flavour, the veggies have a magic sauce drizzled on it and those wedges perfectly crispy with the right level of potato mush on the inside. I love it from the first to the very last bite. Staff are always friendly and lovely. Their pizza, pasta and steaks are delicious tooo. Even though I go through the whole menu everytime and entertain the thought of having a different dish, it's always going to be Chicken Mushroom parma.

Fantastic parmas and steaks! I'm not a fan of their pizza but their steaks are perfect and their parmas are too. Also the fishermans basket is super filling and awesome.

Their steaks are HUGE, well worth the cost, and the sauces with them are awesome too. I love the mushroom gravy, pictured, which tastes great! I find the pepper sauce is a little bit sweet for me but it's still very nice :D.

Their salads are ALWAYS crisp and really great. I normally don't like dressing but I really like theirs. It's so good to find a place that takes pride in their salads, I can leave it in the fridge and eat it the next day no worries at all. Beautiful.

Their parmas are also beautifully done, nice and big, with a great helping of chips. If you're into mash they make some really nice mash (just ask on ordering for substitution) and they have beautiful vegetables that have a little seasoning or cheese flakes on them, I'm not sure what it is but it's really good (I really don't like cheese sauce or anything but this seasoning is great!)

They're also super nice. If I have EVER had a problem they are very friendly and helpful. They also go above and beyond with my insanely annoying requests to have butter and garlic on my steak and remove tomato from the salad. I can't say how much I appreciate having this place near me and delivering. It's really amazing!!!

I can't possibly understand how they have only 3.8. These pizza's are vintage aussie pizza's. They don't skimp on the ingredients, friendly fast, great value and let's be honest, drlish! Naturally, it's a take away place, don't expect fine dining but do expect amazing pizza cooked very well and classically local. 10/10 try the tandoori, you will be delightfully surprised 😉

Five stars firstly because $12 (pickup only, fair enough) for a large pizza is probably the best value in town, especially when they're loaded with toppings, yet still cooked right. Besides mucking up an order, nothing worse then skimping on toppings in my book. Out of 10 I'd lean more toward 9 but yeah - five stars for good pizzas at a great price. They were also fast which helps.

Usually I get a pick-up but after a 12hr day at work I decided to order delivery. The team here are always friendly and on time whether I go in or get delivery. Big thanks to Zack for being a legend on delivery tonight. I really wish I'd tipped him in hindsight. Cheers to all the team 👍super quick and just what I needed to brighten my day. Pizza is fresh and hot 👍👍

Order here regularly, never had any complaints. Can't fault the food or service.

I’ve just received my takeaway order for tonight’s dinner. Ordered via menulog. It seems that the restaurant provides their own delivery services, not menulog, as the notification on the app was shown as ‘order confirmed’ only, not ‘in progress’ or ‘the delivery man is nearby’. Also the notification told me that the estimated delivery time was experiencing a major delayed. Then all of a sudden, I received a call from the restaurant saying that the delivery man was there trying to get in contact with me, and that was like 20-25mins earlier than what the app told me. I felt so sorry for the delivery man as he was trying to find me. The restaurant needs to have menulog update the notification thing for you, otherwise, poor the delivery man 🥺.

So sorry for the long context, the pizzas and gnocchi are beautiful with generous topping as I am enjoying them now. Great work. I’ll come back for new attempts 💯

Goof local, more American style pizza. very cheesy and full of toppings.

The meat lover is similar to other fast food pizzas, full of the cheaper meat toppings , though it was still good overall.

Really good atmosphere here, right off the bat.

It may seem weird getting the fisherman’s basket from a pizza place, but you won’t regret it. The pizza here was amazing, but the fact they also do great fish and chips too is even better.

The prices are fair, not expensive but not the cheapest pizza you’ll ever have. But the taste more than makes up for it. I heavily recommend it, especially after a good movie at the sun theatre

Not fancy but ticks the right boxes.

The pizzas are always great. They aren’t your fancy-pantsed pizzas, but they are fantastic value and they taste great.

Extremely helpful and forthcoming on being able to work around a garlic allergy. I called ahead to double check, staff took my name and I ordered online to get special online discount. She ensured everything was made with assurance of no garlic. This was on a Sunday night (during lockdown with an interstate Western Bulldogs game in Perth).

Thanks to the staff, good food, great service.

Great value and pizza loaded with toppings. Support local business. My friend from Adelaide thinks Godfathers is the best pizza he’s had.
