They did end up refunding me and customer service was ok, the waiting period to recieve the products is too long.

Ordered a pillow online, took over a week to let me know it was no in stock and they could no longer supply the product and only after I emailed to ask about dispatch. Refund was quick which is why it is 2 stars and not 1.

I won’t be ordering from this company again, I wish I had read the reviews before buying something from them. I bought a bedspread on the 11th December, and 10 days had gone by and the order had not been shipped, I emailed them and they said the order would be shipped within the week. This didn’t happen so I emailed again and they said it would be shipped the next day. Still didn’t happen. I just saw on the website that they are now closed for the holiday season until the 29th January. I won’t get my order for 7 weeks now. Terrible customer service.

Do not order from this company. I wish I had read these reviews and the fine print. Unlike other companies they will not post your item until fully paid on afterpay and within that time you will receive an email saying your item is out of stock.

Take money then have months delays. Don't tell you this until you contact them chasing the order.This has happened twice from them. No surprise I won't be ordering again.When refund requested, all of a sudden they said 'oh good news the order is actually coming in a week we can post a couple of days afterward'. Another 3 weeks with no news ,again chasing them..'oh sorry the order has been delayed.' Just want your money hoping you won't bother with refunds. Buy elsewhere.

Placed an order over a week without reading the reviews. Had I read the reviews I wouldn't have placed an order with this company. Placed an order, paid the amount over a week and got no communication as to the status of my order. Sent two follow-up emails and still got no response.
Thinking of getting a refund. Such poor service.

I wish I had of read these reviews before placing an order with these guys! The customer service is absolutely non existent, in todays day and age, it just doesn't cut it! So much for helping out the small businesses, this company is just a joke. Took 2 weeks for 1 item to be delivered (I ordered 2) and I had to chase them for more information to where my order was) to then find out the other item is on backorder. No communication from them in regards to this. I could have gone elsewhere and purchased this stock ten times over by now and had it all. Never again!

This company has no focus on customer service. It engages in misleading conduct. It is not transparent. It does not reveal a contact phone number on its website and refuses to provide one when asked. Communications with the company are very difficult and incredibly frustrating. The company often ignores email communications (the only method of communication as it does not reveal a phone number). The company will not respond to emails for days and then only does so after several follow ups.
Also, do not trust the information contained on its website. It will show items being “in stock” however, after weeks of waiting you then finally discover the items are in fact on back order and the estimated time frames quoted were nonsense. Choose another company to buy from!

Terrible... will never use again.
3 weeks after I ordered I began to follow up on order as I had heard nothing..Was advised my order would be sent that week..10 days later ( after another follow up) I was advised my order was ready to be dispatched..3 days later..an email advising that what I had ordered was not in stock!!.. possibly would have it by January and offered an alternative.. accepted the alternative if they would send immediately otherwise requested a refund...still no response over a week later and no notification that my order has been dispatched..next step I will be placing a formal complaint.
Stay away from this company.

Ordered 3 fitted sheets. Paid immediately. Took two weeks for my order to be shipped. On the day that I got shipping notification I received an email to say two of the three sheets were out of stock. Was refunded for these. Needless to say was very annoyed - especially at paying a $10 shipping fee for one sheet. I emailed to express my annoyance and to say that had I known I would have purchased elsewhere. Requested refund of shipping costs. Was offered credit for shipping. Needless to say I won’t be shopping with them again and will caution others not to also. So disappointing.

Dreadful. Ordered a simply throw rug two weeks ago which was supposed to be in stock. They took payment and I have been chasing them regarding my order. last week they emailed and said it was being sent at the start of this week but it has not been sent and I have had no replies to my emails and the phone number listed for Hallam continually goes to voicemail.

Waiting nearly 4 weeks for my order it was
for my daughter birthday and never got when the warehouse is only 15 minutes from my house. I also emailed them 5 times and they never responded, very very disappointed.

I made an order in April, I received part of it after 5 weeks despite endless emails requesting it to be sent in time for mothers day as it was a gift. Today I received a refund for the remainder following several emails where they told me the items were due in soon. So now I am stuck with a doona cover and no cushions. The communication is appalling, they sell items they don't actually have in stock and they have no way of being contacted. Disgusting customer service.!

Very bad and disappointing experience. Sent stained cushions that looked like it had been sitting in the warehouse for a long time. Would not refund the shipping when I sent them back as they spot cleaned the cushions so they were not faulty anymore?? Gave me a $10.00 credit for future purchase. As if I will ever use them again. Very slow response time and they do not answer all emails. I asked for a number so I could speak with someone. Just got ignored. They do not respond with a name so you do not know who your talking to.
Do not use this company!!!

So hard to place an order when you're not familiar with shopping on line. Requested assistance by phone on 3 seperate occasions but they just kept emailing me with no help at all. I gave up and went to another online store that was soo easy to use and they had a phone number in the contact us section if needed. Cottonbox has no phone number for help. I now understand why they only have a 1.6 star rating.

If I could give no stars here I would. An online store that don't accept returns, don't have a phone number and even when you ask them for one to figure out why after I spent $10 returning an item they said they would accept, they send a simple email saying return not accepted. No reason. Customer service is unacceptable for an online only store especially. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! I am just hoping this review cost them at least the $60 that they took from my wallet. They have the item and my money! Great work!
