North Melbourne Library

It's alright. Water taps, charge ports, self checkout books, toilets including disability access, large upstairs area with study space and computer use ,free console use, surveillance cameras, conference room. Overall "Historic Looking". Staff fine. Security on site is a bonus. Comfortable to study in.

Kind staffs delight this library which provide professional book research systems. The borrowing book machine amazed me. Chinese children’s books provided. This library definitely supports community.

The librarians who perform Songbirds (Mondays and Wednesdays) and Stompers (Thursdays) are the best in the city. The librarians are sooo nice and very friendly. It's a great space for children to play
There have blocks and video games for children. Oh the book selection is amazing as well!

Shout out to the team at the North Melbourne library. Did a click and collect order due to covid restrictions. It’s currently book week and even though the library is largely shut, the librarians were still in their book week costumes. They were so friendly and listened to my son talk about his favourite books and what he dressed as and what his teacher dressed up as. They also added some book week craft to our pack.
Thanks guys! As we left my son turned to me and said that was nice talking to them. Day made!

This is a must-go-to place every sunday afternoon for my family. It opens everyday, but especially on Sunday it opens from 2-5 pm. This place has a lovely ambience, and the staff were so nice and helpful. My kids love this place so much. It probably has the best children section in Melbourne.

Very friendly to children with a library bag of books ready to pick up. I hope libraries continue to be supported in a time of Liberal party cuts to services
