We did a whisky tasting and It was EXCELLENT! So great, in fact, we will be coming again in the near future 😃
I have to say, I was not a fan of whisky, but according to the class I’ve been drinking it all wrong! So I like it now.
The bar person who guided us was excellent and she really knows her stuff.
We also appreciated the absinthe tasting and the cocktails are amazing (and reasonably priced).

I hosted an event in their upstairs space for 30 girls on Working Holidays and everything was amazing.

The venue itself is so beautiful and great for what we were looking for which was space to mingle!

The whole process of booking with Polly Bar was so easy and every staff member we spoke to was so helpful. From Michael, the function coordinator which made the booking process so easy. To our amazing bartender for the night Asa, who was so bubbly, friendly, helped us with the music and screens, taking photos of our group and the girls loved chatting to them!

A night that was affirmed and truly delivered. Starting off with a whiskey class, our host was informative, providing diverse tastes and flavours in rounds that were well timed. The reserved atrium was the perfect space for a group of 20 guys. It gave us flexibility to drink and smoke cigars for the night. The theme takes you to an Art Deco 1930s great Gatsby scene. Service felt tailored and our host ensured our event was smooth. Great correspondence from the coordinator, helpful to plan right night for us. Everybody enjoyed themselves and the drinks. Highly recommend Polly bar to host an event.

Polly Bar hosted a cocktail-making workshop for us in January, and everybody had the best time! Great service, communication, and value. Highly recommend! We will certainly be repeating this event. Big thanks to all of the staff for making the workshop so much fun!

We had a load of fun at the Polly Bar. We went as a group of 10 for no reason but for the experience and what a great experience it was.

On arrival we were given a drink of our choice and presented with a yummy cheese platter. This was followed by making our own cocktails.

Our bartender was fun, gave clear instructions, and was very personable. We made 3 cocktails being a gimlet, an Expresso Martini and ???? (maybe I personally had one too many!)

I had my 40th here 2 weeks ago and I am so happy with the service and the food. The finger food was so delicious my friends couldn't stop talking about it. The drinks are amazing and I loved the cigars. Vibrant atmosphere adds to the experience. Just be patient when ordering drinks as the workers are really under the pump.

We had a wonderful experience at Polly bar for our work Christmas Party doing their cocktail making class. A big thanks to the team for hosting us. Michael was very flexible and accommodating to our requests.
The antipasto platters provided were high quality and substantial, and we loved the pizza platters.
Cocktails were fun to make and delicious, overall a very worthwhile experience, with the big boss saying it was one of our best Christmas parties.

Polly Bar is one of the best cocktail bars on Brunswick Street. The interior is stylishly designed and decorated, the furnishings are comfortable, the cocktails are made to perfection and the service is very professional. I'm also a big fan of the music selection: an eclectic mix of vintage classics that make the venue feel like a place out of time.

10/10 would recommend. Great for a hens night but would also go back just to try more cocktails. Everything was delicious and fresh, the staff were absolutely lovely. Will be back!

We had an absolutely phenomenal time at Polly Bar. We attended a cocktail class for a Hen’s party & the cost of the package was brilliant. The cocktails were lovely & we enjoyed every minute of learning new skills.

Had my 18th Birthday here at this place and it did not disappoint, the staff members were very humours and attentive to my needs. The vibes there were very chill which was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning on hosting a party.

The way the cocktail making was set up at stations was so clever and time effective, meaning everyone could get involved and we could pace the day. Our work did our Xmas party with Polly Bar, doing the cocktail making class. The pace of the class was great, and the cocktails were fantastic. The venue's decor is really moody and gave the place a lot of depth of personality, added to by our amazing host; Scarlett! Highly recommend

had my 21st birthday in the private function room of Polly's Bar, by far the best birthday I've had to date. The space was perfect for my guests, the ambience of the bar was so eloquent and fit in with my cocktail theme. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we were setting up, offering extra tables and chairs as well as a knife and plastic forks and spoons for cake.The pizza i ordered via the venue for catering was so well priced at $23 for large pizzas, they also offered a wide variety of choice including vegan options. I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a classy, fun experience.

We booked into a cocktail class for a team building activity. We had such a fun time!!
Scarlette was fun, knowledgeable and had just the right amount of dirty jokes which suited our group perfectly.
