Le Petit Pain French Bakery

Pork banh mi was great, homemade pate and you can really taste it - the pate makes or breaks a banh mi (imo), this has to be my number 1 in the local vicinity, top 3 in melbourne.
I'd give extra stars if I could for exceptional friendly service.

Been buying their bread and croissants for a long time. The ciabatta loaf is excellent quality with a perfect crust and the price a bargain. Forget buying supermarket bread. The croissants are large and also very good, as are the other treats.

Many thanks to the people at French Bakery & Cakes this morning - I went in asking if they had any water when my car overheated this morning and they could not have been more helpful, down to supplying me with water in standard size jugs 'so it'll be easier'. Will definitely be back to purchase their wares - they looked delicious. Thanks again!
Update: have been dropping in for a post-workout bahn mi. Absolutely delicious, as is their bread. Yum!

Not only the quality of the bread (and cakes) is excellent but also the friendliness of the service is outstanding. No frills, just sound quality. I have been going back for more for years now. Constantly and continuously good. Thank you French Bakery & Cakes Staff!

I come here mostly for the banh mi, but also get their cakes and other sweets. Very nice food here, and the staff are particularly warm and friendly.

Favourite local bakery. Great breads & delicious Hot cross buns all year round
