Little india cafe is the place that I want to visits again and again. We had birthday party of mine daughter last year and everyone loved the food, and ambience of the hall that they have on the top floor and they accommodate us as we have only 20 guest for the party and other places need at least 50 people, but little india arranged a remarkable party for us (budget friendly as well) and now this year lots of mine friends booked their kids bday party with them, as their work speak more than anything else. The staff like Chef, Pawan, Kareena all are best as I visited last night as well to have buffet with mine friend and their dealing is so perfect it feels like homecoming, they arrange less spicy food for kids, make dosa, mango lassi for kids. Once you visit their they new your taste of food, and the very next visit they provide you food accordingly. Moreover they remember you by your face 😁. Lastly, owner of the restaurant is very humble and provide you the best options if you discuss to plan a bday party with them. 5⭐

very tasty food , very rare places like this in Melbourne, Authentic taste manchurian were so crispy qnd good, chhole was awesome , will def come and try more things again v soon, and prices are too good for the quantity and quality of food they serve. also the staff r v polite helpful and kind ..

The Little Indian Cafe catered for 250 dinner guests at our event. The food arrived on time and was exactly as we had requested. We enjoyed the food and received great feedback from our guests about how tasty it was, especially the dessert. Highly recommended!

This cute place is all about smiles and good and positive vibes 😊😁. In this miserable world, where people have gone into survival mode and smile is a rare commodity, this restaurant’s demeanour and vibes are just so pleasant and healthy and vibrant.

The paneer tikka is simply superb, tasty. The Gobi Manchurian is out of this world and their best dish I think is the Mirchi bajji 😁

The food is made using high quality ingredients and the taste is authentic. I had given them a bulk order in 2023 and it was amazing. Kudos to the team 👏

Subbu and his team at the Little India Cafe catered for our farm wedding and it was without exaggeration one of the highlights of the evening. People who came from India also commented on how you don't get food of this quality in restaurants back home.
Highly recommend their Haleem and Methi Chicken if you have not tried it yet.
He and his team made sure the food was catered to our specifications and were very easy to work with. We can't thank them enough for all of it. They have lifelong customers in us :D

Little Indian Cafe...nice wee spot for a all you can eat buffet. Good variety of tasty veg & non veg dishes to choose from, the naans & the plain dosas come out pretty promptly too. And the service is so friendly and welcoming. Glad to have found this one.

Very good Indian food, we always go for their Buffet. The food is tasty, friendly staff and overall very good value.

Amazing place for Indian veg and non-veg cuisine. My friends and I visited this place for buffet on a Sunday night. Do not be fooled by its empty seats as the dishes are prepared fresh and warm for the customers to enjoy. The buffet prices were affordable as well. Definitely will visit the place soon.

Also, the buffet is only being served on the weekend. This restaurant opens every Thursday to Sunday only.

Subbu was extremely kind and food was delicious. I ordered lamb biryani , butter chicken, chicken Tikka and lamb Rogangosh. Food was ready at 7 pm and neatly packed. Everyone enjoyed. Thanks subhu

Excellent buffet with unlimited soft drinks , butter chicken is too good , naans are soft and gulab jamun is soft with right amount of sugar

Situated in the food lane, this little Indian Cafe delivers a small punch on Wallet and big punch on taste and quality.

During current on-going lockdown, I had done a take-away for Methi/Cream Chicken ( forgot the name now but was in these two) with tawa roti and Channa Bhature on another order.

Order taker on call was extremely calm and patience, was not trying to rush up, explained nicely about the order and helped me with it.

The chicken was amazing, tasted really good, was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating to take the pic....If you are a chicken lover, do not miss this one. They can prepare it as per your taste and can adjust the spicy level as you like, just tell them.

The stand out beside chicken was the Roti, made of absolute Atta (wholemeal flour). What an amazing taste, simply outstanding. The best Roti bread I have had in a long time in South East Melbourne. Highly Recommended.

As for Channa Bhature, they taste outstanding and excess oil I believe is drained out of the bread. The chickpeas are cooked delicious and is being accompanied with curd/raita and mixed pickle will tingle your taste buds even more.

Overall I have found them consistent across my two orders and will be returning again and share the good word with my circa. Keep up the good show guy's.

Food was absolutely delicious and no problems the next day. Guests loved it.

It was great for the first two years. They increased their price and we still went. Food was great, great variety and value for money. Went there last week and the variety was far less. Being a vegetarian there were only two curry options. No starters, no desserts as previously. Looks like this is my last visit unless they go back to previous standards..

Best Indian food in town.. the aroma and taste is fabulos… this restaurant has the best chef’s and staff in Melbourne. Must try 👌

Ordered food for my 30th birthday from here from the Indo Chinese menu for 30 people. The food was really tasty and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed it as well. This is the second time we engaged them for catering services and food was ready in time for pick up. We look forward to engaging them for all our future events.

Delicious buffet with lots of varieties.. v friendly staff. My son does not eat spicy food at all so the staff went out of their way to make no spice butter chicken for him . He enjoyed his meal as well. Thank u v much 🙏🏻.. we appreciate ur kind gesture and will definitely be back soon 😊.

The owner Subu as we to him as and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered food for a birthday party. The food was delicious and had all the guests very satisfied..we ordered, seekh kebab, chicken Tikka, paneer butter masala, veg Manchurian, kadai chicken, beef kashmiri , goat biryani.
Highly recommended. Will definitely be getting food from here again
