Westpac Branch Williamstown

I love my local Westpac Branch. The modern machines that allow you to deposit and withdraw cash, are in great condition and positioned inside a well-lit indoor area. I find this really useful, because I can get tasks done quick without lining up, but also reassuring because it feels more secure and safe as you are technically off the street. The branch is always impeccable.

Staff are friendly, courteous, helpful, accomodating and focus on the customer's requirements!! The level of service provided by staff with a last minute request for cash @ 4:30pm on a Friday that usually takes a few days to organise was exceptional. Not only did they provide the solution, no questions asked and were happy to assist...

Thanks to Narelle, at westpac. She was absolutely amazing and so helpful. A true professional and very good at her job.

Most of the time the atms and machines are broken. But good to have a local branch

3 weeks ago I went in this branch to
Open another business account . I was told to make an appointment instead because they didn’t have enough staff. Today I called the branch twice and it went straight to voicemail. I then came in and asked if I can change quite a few coins I have collected over to notes. Again, I was told to make an appointment or use the eftpos machine to deposit the coins in to my account. I just wanted notes but there was no facility for this. I didn’t want to deposit in to my account as I don’t use an eftpos card I just pay wave everything on my iPhone. I can’t honestly recall the last time I used an eftpos machine.
Most coin machines I can recall give you a slip and you take it up to the teller who gives you the amount in notes. Westpac is a bank, why can’t you handle cash in whatever form it comes in? The excuse I got yet again is that they only have 2 people there to serve. A recurring theme at this branch. I have a few accounts with Westpac, it’s not really good enough, guys. Do better.

…hmmmm notice that the only two bad reviews I have on Google are for westpac? Stopped in at the Williamstown branch to get float for the morning & not only was the machine empty, but it also ate my card so I can’t go to another branch. Card expires in 2026, so why did it get eaten?
What’s going on with this organisation? Quality and reliability has gone.

Tried to make a payment and i was told cash only so I quickly withdraw the money from the atm and in that time the teller started serving other people that just walked in and i was told to wait in line. The teller took forever service a lady depositing coins at the desk holding everything up when you have a atm that does this. I asked for extra staff and i told the teller i cant wait i was first and a lady from the back room rudely started arguing with me in front of everyone. She is not there helping her first reaction as your employee is to act rude. How do you employ people like this, it’s shocking. Thats why i bank with commonwealth bank.

1 star is to much, arrogant and never calls back, absolute joke of a brand.

A BANK THAT NOT LONGER TAKES MONEY! JUST RIDICULOUS.
You can no longer do cash and coin deposits at a teller, have to do it through a machine. Machine only takes 38 notes at a time so if you have lots of notes be prepared to stand there for 20 minutes doing a deposit, in multiple transactions. Coin depositary has not been working for two days, so even though my coins are bagged, I have to come back when the machine is working, as they wont take it. Westpac has gone mad with technology. I will be changing to a bank that I can actually have face to face contact and be actually able to deposit my money.

Just another excuse for a bank the line is almost out the door and 1 teller on.

Seems like you just delete negative feedback and don't reply , seems like you care about customer satisfaction very little
