I love the den, its cosy, comfortable and hidden. Definitely a Gem, warm and inviting you dont want to leave. Perfect for also holding small functions here ans well priced catering. Cant wait to habe my wedsing reception here in a few weeks, been a pleasure to deal with

Great "hidden bar" with nice cocktails.. It has a great atmosphere with a sort of early American prohibition vibe! The bartender was wonderful in suggesting drinks and very friendly.

Hidden little gem under Crown. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff were great. The bartender had so much knowledge about the cocktails and their history. Definitely check it out for a quite drink!

A speak easy inside Atlantic at crown. Walk inside the restaurant and down the stairs to a cool cocktail bar, a great venue for pre dinner drinks. Table service and a great selection of cocktails, I often go there for a relaxed atmosphere and conversations with friends. I was there with my son and partner to celebrate his 21st pre dinner drinks. They were happy to make cocktails that were not on their extensive list. Great service and cool decor - you may even think you are in a New York speak easy.

Had a great time here with my friends. Excellent bartender by the name of Nathanial that seemed more than happy to cater to some odd requests and humour me with conversation about their passion and talent for making drinks. Will be very happy to return here with said friends of possibly others

Me and my husband had the best experience in this hidden little gem. Drinks were great and the Italian girl working at the bar was very knowledgeable and friendly... Unfortunately we don’t remember her name. My suggestion is to don’t even look at the menu...Just ask directly to the bar staff and they’ll be able to help you and find the right drink for you. It would be a great venue for functions. Definitely back soon!

What an awesome experience..... perfect spot to chill and have a few quiet drinks. We were trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Saturday night crowd and this was the perfect spot. Staff were great and drinks even better. Can’t wait to come back!!

Tucked right in the basement of Atlantic is this cozy “den”. It’s a nice warm bar and a good place to hang out with friends.

You wont be disappointed! Honestly one of Melbournes' Best bars and Function venues. Tucked under the iconic Atlantic restaurant this is one sleek, sophisticated bar. Opulent decor. The bar food was straight from the chefs kitchen and cocktails perfectly mixed. Couldnt fault the service.

I tend to stay away from the touristy "Crown" bars which can be pretentious but this place was an absolute gem! One of my new faves.

Great bar I stumbled upon whilst visiting Melbourne. Enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the relaxing atmosphere. Dark, relaxing and quiet. Great for unwinding after walking around the city all day.
