We recently got some canapés and Sri Lankan snacks for a gathering of ours and Cafe Dinicious did a perfect job! The guests were treated a symphony of flavours, and everything was beautifully presented. Delicious food and super cool staff 😊 Had an authentic Sri Lankan meal after a long time - not too spicy and salty. Recommend to everyone who loves Sri Lankan food.

Very kind hearted team with a cozy and a homely atmosphere to dine in. They have a delicious range of Sri Lankan dishes and pastries. Owner lady is so warm and welcoming and was kind enough to make us a nice cup of Ceylon tea just the way we like it. They have a variety of Sri Lankan desserts, cakes and other sweets. They also seem to have good coffee and a lot of local and Sri Lankan soft drinks. We’ll be back!

This little Sri Lankan gem is hidden in the Scoresby village shopping centre. You can eat in, take away or get catering for a function for more than a 10 people. They have some excellent authentic Sri Lankan dishes, short eats and sweets to choose from. We love the Koththu roti and Lamprais and fish pan rolls to eat in and takeaway. We have also organised catering for a function in the past and guests loved the variety of food and the taste. There are several catering menus to choose from. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

I’d been coming to Scoresby for years (Lily’s banh mi obsession) but after reading an SBS article about the lamprais I had to try! Beautiful presentation, lovely service, the depth of spice was incredible. Also tried the watalappan dessert - yummy dark burnt flavours. Bought a few sweet snacks take away, my favourite of which was the sesame ball (Thala Guli?) which was intense, dark and buttery. Must return to try the woody-apple with ice cream (oddly on the drinks menu). Edit: also tried the byriani which was in the Bain Marie but was still beautifully presented and so so delicious. Topped by a crunchy chilli 🌶

Went there to have a kothu but ended up trying a mix of kothu with stringhoppers. It was suggested by the girl at the counter and it was surely worth a try.

Such a great find! Saw this place and walked in. Very welcoming and good choice of typical Sri Lankan food. We had Biryani and String Hoppers with fish. Very considerately spiced, tingling in the tongue, full of traditional flavour. We will be back!

Nailed it. Great Sri Lankan food. With kinda reasonable price. Portion slightly smaller due to recent inflation. But settings is very clean and tidy with good ambience. No ramps for disable or toilet access. But the spices and mango curry and briyani lynch deals are awesome with curry chicken or pork curry. Beautifully Cooked

I made a catering request from Cafe Dinicious for a family event quite recently. Their communication was seamless from first point of contact. The staff members were super friendly and understanding! The food was absolutely quality - especially the hot butter cuttlefish and the thai papaya salad! The prices are super reasonable! I went with menu #14 and they were kind enough to make changes to the menu as per my request. I highly recommend Cafe Dinicious for your catering needs! 10/10

A cozy Sri Lankan spot! We ordered the “gamé bath” which came with every curry they had to offer! 😍 Kiyasha was an excellent staff member!

There's plenty of Sri Lankan restaurants scattered all across Melbourne, but this ranks as right up there among the best.

For the food that I've tried so far, the maalupaan and the Chinese rolls, no other place comes close.

Great service by the staff even with some of the Karen's that have walked in whilst I was waiting for my order.

Excited to try the other items on their menu.

Ordered yellow rice menu and evening catering items from the Cafe. Very happy with the service and the food. Anoma aunty was really helpful in picking up the choices. Gave some handy tips. The pineapple salad was a great hit. Everyone enjoyed the food. Also the serving sizes were very reasonable. Thank you.

Nice place as it serves coffee and it's modern compared to other sri lankan food shops you would find in Dandenong and surrounds. Food is not very spicy but it is tasty. Had the chicken biryani. Will be back for lunch one day

Tried a couple of Sri Lankan restaurants around the suburbs and this one is by far the best. I grew up eating curry and I can tell you theirs is something that you will come back for more. There were times where I would drop by 3 days in a roll.
