I barely ever review things, this pizza shop though… mate, in short it isn’t a pizza shop as much as it is a cult following in the bayside suburbs… they make my very favourite food in the world, which is one of their pizzas, I get them every Friday night, religiously and any other night I can, I will and I do because they’re the best! The ingredients are all selected because they’re what tastes best on a pizza, this in my opinion is not your traditional pizza house, it’s so much more than that, I get throws of beautiful flavours I taste in middle eastern food, and those little perfect charred bits of the base like on a naan bread from and Indian restaurant… I was born across the road from the shop and have always been local to this area but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had pizza from all over the joint and with that, the only negative about this place presents itself- it makes everywhere else no good anymore, you’ll never ever get what you get here anywhere else.. I mean that… it’s a phenomenal place and if anyone ever wanted them to change a thing about it I’d tell them to start running.
My pizzas of choice are the hot salami margherita, well done on thin base which I’m eating right now as we speak hahaha and the Hawaiian, well done on thin base with dbl cheese and hot salami… my sisters laugh at me when I’m eating pizza from here because I make noises and look like lets say… I’m in absolute heaven (to keep it clean)
This place is the heart and centrepoint of Bayside and I’d take Gordon Ramsay there if I knew him without a doubt in the world he’d love it because you can’t beat a series of unique family recipes and fresh food which is EXACTLY what this place is!!

The Continental at Alex’s Pizza Bar is the best spicy pizza in Melbourne. Do yourself a favour

Thoroughly enjoyed Alex’s Al Fono pizza, Alex’s Special pizza and garlic roll. Michael is warm, welcoming and generous - definitely will be back soon. Highly recommend.

Dropped in to Alex's Pizza for the first time tonight, had a friend with me and all other pizza shops in the area were closed. So glad we stopped here, pizza was excellent with great tasting base and plenty of topping.
Ordered Supreme with Jalapeno and it was very tasty, definitely be going back.
Also the service was friendly.
I now have two great pizza shops to choose from.

Hubby brought an Alex's Pizza pizza home as a late dinner, Yum, these pizza's are like the ones I used to get when I was young.
Plenty of topping, which is unlike most pizzas these days and well cooked so the onion wasn't still hard and raw.
Looks like we will be ordering and sharing a pizza more often now.

Had a beautiful Marinara pizza family size for $23 Inc delivery, it was nice and hot and very tasty, I'd highly recommended Alex's pizzas!

Alex Pizza is in my opinion the BEST pizza in Melbourne!! Never been let down! Fantastic friendly service! Fresh ingredients. Not processed like franchise pizzas. Traditional gourmet delicious pizzas every time! Regular Friday night feast!!

Ordered from Alex's Pizza Bar for the first time the other night. I was happily surprised with the quality of pizza which tasted fantastic.

Alex's Pizza is Bayside's best Pizza. We've tried many others around Sandringham, but Alex 's is no.1. Hot, tasty, great crust, speedy service!
