Came in to get a brake cable replaced for my E-scooter. Right from the first inquiry, I received better service than I received from Scooter Hut next door.
Staff were friendly and informative.
My broken brake cable was replaced quickly for a reasonable price.
Thanks for the fine-tuning adjustment too. Big improvement from what it was before it snapped.

Excellent service! Purchased a mountain bike and discovered it had a minor factory flaw. The bike was replaced and I’m ready to head out on the trails now. The knowledge, assistance and service in the store is excellent, highly recommend -especially to novice cyclists like myself, special thanks to Thomas for his efforts👏👏

Had a great experience here getting helped by Marco to replace the wheels on my old road bike. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and even offered to fit my old cassette for me which I definitely would have struggled to do. He advised me on some new tyres which was helpful and all done quickly and with a smile. Thanks for your help!

Incredibly helpful and honest guys in the service department. Told me what should/could be done, and what needed to be done. Carried out the basic work (quick brake adjustment) that clearly needed to be done initially at no cost, and let me think about the other work and come back if I wanted it done without any pressure. They could have pressured me, but they didn't. They also told me what to look out for while ridding (i.e. chain slipping) and explained why it would happen including highlighting the worn parts. i.e. They educated me but then left it to me, recommending I come back if I felt the work needed to be done.

Dropped in this afternoon with my young sons bike, thinking we would need to leave it there for a service and collect it later. The staff took a quick look and were able to rectify the problems on the spot, and we were on our way.
We always head to 99B when we need our bikes serviced, and have always found them to be knowledgeable and friendly.

Marco was great, knew his stuff, wasn’t pushy and was the only person that showed interest, went through options and wanted to actually sell a bike out of all the stores I went into.

99 Bikes saves the day again. I went in because my chain was jumping about; I'd put it off because I rely on my bike as my primary form of transport... Turns out I'd ridden 3000km in 3 years, and worn down the cogs and chain completely, who knew? Edward (SO helpful) did - and he also spotted a wobbly, unsafe front wheel. New Chain, new chainrings(?), everything in safe working order, on the spot. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and learned a lot while I was there. Every time I go to 99 Bikes my heart is warmed by the friendliness, level of skill, professionality and generosity with knowledge. Also the music in the workshop was a cut above. Many thanks once again to a great team.

I had a fantastic experience here thanks to Nicolas. He was very attentive in listening to my needs, very informative and not a pushy salesman, and didn't rush me! He presented to me 3 options to test out, to see which was the perfect fit. Helped me with finding the right bike, helmet, lock and lights! Thanks Nicolas for helping me find the right wheels to explore Melbourne in! We shall be back in the future for me =) hasta lluegooo!!

Can't give enough praise to 99 Bentleigh for today's bike service. Within 90 minutes of dropping off my son's bike, it was fully serviced and several parts were replaced -- including a broken rear axel -- at a very reasonable price. Definitely glad I bought his bike there and continue to get service there. My local bike shop told me they'd need to hold onto the bike for a week before servicing it. 99 Bentleigh turned it around same day, and it looks great. Highly recommend.

Having a bike after a very very long time not using one I needed to find a bike shop that if I needed any repairs or advice I could go to. I looked around and found the one that was the closest one which happens to be 99 Bikes. I haven't bought my bike from them, first of all mine is electric and the guy who makes them is in Brisbane under the name Major Neutron so taking there was out of the question. Having come to a situation that I needed to change my brakes I went to 99 Bikes and had a chat with the guys who repair and assemble the bikes. Very friendly and very knowledgeable of what they do I gladly handed over for them to fix my problem. They told me Saturday would be the day but I would be notified. They notified me that it might be ready on Saturday but it took just a little bit longer which meant pick up would be Sunday. Which was no bother. As for the sales part I ventured inside to grab something that I needed they have a good selection of bikes unfortunately this world wide inconvenience that we have stock might not be there but the staff are quick to find out more information about its arrival. Very friendly staff and eager to offer you assistance. For my first experience with a bike store I felt comfortable and all my questions answered. If you are looking to purchase a bike or a electric one give them a try and when you decide to buy make sure that you are getting what you want not they want to sell you. Whichever store you go to

Came in because the wheel and stand came off my daughters bike. Turned out to be an easy fix Heston repaired quickly and didn’t charge me. Thanks Heston!

Brought my bike in for a tune up and the staff in the work shop were great! Shout out to Eston, he had my bike and gears tuned up in 15min! Absolute legend.

The clerk at this store repaired the bicycle very carefully. It's a very kind and good shop.

I needed a small but important job done quickly (swapping a bushing from my old to my new shock). The guys in the workshop were able to help me the same day which was so good for avoiding delays. I really appreciated it, and they did a great job at minimal cost. Recommend.
