Located in the lush green bylanes of South Yarra, just off Toorak road, this small gem is a perfect spot for a delicious cup of coffee and breakfast. It's freshly prepared, delicious, and welcoming.

We enjoyed a hearty omelette and sandwich and recommend this place.

We love this place! The staff are so friendly and sweet. Food is tasty and lots of varied options. We always have a hard time deciding what we want. Excellent coffee. Today it’s raining and the patio is safe from the wet and super cosy. Can’t wait to come back!

This local cafe was so busy with locals when we arrived. The menu has a Vietnamese fusion twist which is exciting and one of its kind for the area!

Everything arrived beautifully. We enjoyed our fresh juices- the ABC and Green Juice. Viet coffee is also not to be missed- super strong. The matcha latte using matcha maiden powder was also intense with flavour ♥💫🍵

Favourites from the food were the pork belly Benedict- the fatty pork just melts in your mouth! 😻 other top pick was the Asian eggs- loved the lemon grass chicken and hash brown!! 🔥👍🏻💫 the tom yum soba noodles + spring rolls were also good- the sauce is addictive.

The owners were lovely a lovely Vietnamese family. The menu items are creative and amazing! Worth a visit for a chilled and modern vibe. Sitting on the deck was perfect during summer! 🔥

I was here last week and came back this week to have the same meal as both my partner and i enjoyed the food here. I love that the pasta has the option of calamari or salmon. I opted for the salmon.

Asian fusion done right, right here! The pork belly Benedict is absolute perfection. Pork belly, poached eggs, PORK FLOSS, kimchi apples and more. 🤤🤤 I’m super keen to visit again to check out the rest of their menu

I spent quite a few days here in July as I needed a location to get some good coffee whilst working. I haven't had a single dish or drink that wasn't good or better, the staff was delightful and the wifi connection was good.

Food was so yum! We had the truffle mushroom spaghetti with grilled salmon and the pork belly Benedict!

Service was also great, it wasn’t busy, so we got to choose our own seats and everyone was friendly ☺

Lots of veggie options, some with an Asian twist. Lovely cafe with a large balcony and a huge wisteria vine. Great coffee and several large tables which you can reserve.

Cafe Gaia undoubtedly offers the best brunch experience in Melbourne, combining traditional Vietnamese flavors with a warm and inviting atmosphere. As someone who has explored numerous brunch spots in the city, I can confidently say that Cafe Gaia is a hidden gem worth discovering. Their authentic Vietnamese twist on brunch classics is simply remarkable, transporting you to the streets of Vietnam with every bite. The soups, in particular, are incredibly homely and comforting, capturing the essence of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

If you're seasoned to Vietnamese foods, I would recommend the crab meat soup, beef stew (both with a side of roti) for a warm Melbourne winter breakfast or - the Hoi An pork benedict.
