Old School Pizza & Stonegrill

Amazing food! In Melbourne for a week and ordered Pizza … while waiting for our take away, we noticed how delicious the rest of the menu looked so came to dine in on our last night here.
The three pastas that we had were probably the best I’ve ever had. The lemon meringue was the perfect way to finish the night.

What a great place we loved it. The food was absolutely delicious. The service is so lovely the people that served us our food were very polite and kind the food tasted amazing from the pizza the lasagne and chicken schnitzel was just delicious..

The food was yummy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. The Parma was huge. the seafood pizza was delicious.

One of my top favourite restaurants. So good to come to a fully halal restaurant without any alcohol at the venue either atmosphere is always great and service is one of the best - efficient and kind.
Food is always amazing never disliked anything ordered. Portions are very fair for the price you pay and the venue is very clean - clean bathroom as well which is great (many places lack in that unfortunately)

AMAZING service. I had organised a get together with Patisserie Chefs of 10. They fulfilled the table set out requests, all food came out at the same time, the atmosphere was great, staff energy was amazing and lovely and friendly. Food was fantastic and delicious. I'd like to thank the staff and Chefs for making the night SUPER SPECIAL for us. We all had an amazing time. If I could give a hundred stars! 💯 🌟 🤩

Excellent sitting arrangement. The food was excellent and pasta was delicious. Though pizza are unlikely to order again but should try out other dishes on the menu. Friendly staff and excellent service - a bit overpriced but cannot complain.

This is one of my favourite places to eat, hands down the BEST Parma in Melbourne! I have tried their parma’s, pastas, pizzas and desserts and everything I have tried has been exceptional! Highly recommend!

First time here today for a get together, the food was amazing! We had entrees and mains and everything was just so good. The service was also brilliant. Special mention to the young boy who done a great job working in hot conditions. Looking forward to coming back :)

My friend and I been on a road trip throughout Australia for weeks camping and eating out. This was hands down the best meal we had!!!! The Butternut Rigatoni was absolutely delicious. I still can taste it. There were lots of menu choices making it hard to choose. The service was great. The restaurant was spotless. I'm already planning my return visit. We were too full for the dessert but the menu looked great.

Fantastic restaurant with an extensive menu! Staff was great and seating area is tastefully decorated. Food was incredible with large portion and great value. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend it. For the Muslim friends, they are halal but I’ll advise you to always check before dining.

Amazing experience! Very well-served and delicious dishes at reasonable prices. We ordered the carbonara and chicken parmigiana, and we loved them. Fantastic customer service and atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

I recently visited Old School Pizza & Stonegrill’s new premises which has moved a few doors down.

I was invited to try the new pancake and waffle stack, for those who can’t decide between pancakes and waffles, and want something decadent. I couldn’t imagine anyone eating a whole one, so I suggest sharing it between 2 or 3. It was pretty tasty though, it was a good waffle. They come in four themes: kinder, cherry ripe, curly wurly and chomp. We also had some crazy milkshakes. They are on trend, not my preference but I can’t fault them.

The reason why this place is great is actually their breakfast / brunch options. Really well done. Plentiful and cooked well. We had the smashed avo and the big breakfast. No frills but with all the thrills. Good value for the cost.

The other reason why this place is great was the service. The person who served us was friendly, attentive and responsive. In the instragram world, customer service is a commodity and Old School have this in spades.

I like the new premises. The fit out has been done nicely, so it feels like a pizza place would at night, and a café during the day. I was curious to see people turning up relatively early in the morning for brunch. It’s good that people can see past the name (which has the word pizza on it) and realise they have variety in their menu.

Ultimately, Old School is a great café, with a mix of standard breakfast/brunch options done really well, some visually appealing sweet options for the big kid inside you, and stellar customer service that will make you come back for more.

Excellent place for high quality halal fresh pizza and pasta. A bit pricey but the pizza is soo good. I love the peri peri chicken pizza and the slow cooked lamb. The owner is a great guy too. Nice location right next to Coburg mousqe!

Very tasty food with decent size portions ! Lasagnas and chicken mushroom fettuccine are awesome. The staff was friendly too, we enjoyed our diner there. But please, add a bread option to the menu, so we can finish our saucy plates !

Ordered the beef skewers, chips, of course a pizza and calamari.
All were amazing but the calamari was sensational with delicious lemony crust. Loved it. The meat (lamb back strapped) was tender and BBQ’ed to request - juicy and medium ..
the one down was the stale salad, could not eat the salad and the dressing can be olive oil and lemon/vinegar which gives clear and clean finish and can’t go wrong with. The dressing we received was brown and didn’t also like it at all.

Some people say it's expensive, I have found it reasonable for the fast service and high food quality provided.

Discovered this place within the last 2 months and it's our new Go to. THE BEST parmas and schnitzel in Melbourne, also very good pastas lasagne also one of the best that I have had. This place has the recipe for success. Highly recommended.

Very delicious pizza with fresh mozzarella (which makes so much of a difference in quality)
The shakes are amazing and so good they offer a small and large size. Usually restaurants have only one massive size can be too much!
I really want to go back and I think it’s such a good place to bring people visiting Melbourne.
