Professional to a fault, the best barber I've ever been to. Jay is a master, understands face shape, moustache care and beard care like few others. The equipment is top notch and well maintained, the coffee is great, the chats are always fun and I walk away looking great every time.

Nik ‘The King of Fades’ is quite possibly the best barber I’ve ever come across. Meticulous, detailed and takes care with your hair - he’s a cut above the rest.

I couldn’t ask for better service. Always happy to have a chat and make you a coffee. On top of that, he’s a stellar bloke too!

Consistently good cuts! Nicola is a legend, I always enjoy chatting with him over a cut about bikes, coffee, ect. I've been seeing him every month for a few years now - Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was a regular at the previous shop when I lived on Sydney Road before moving to South Morang just before covid. I tried every barber in S.M. but none were up to the standard I had grown accustomed to. I'm getting married next week and made the trip over today for a haircut and beard trim. Jay is a master barber and a gentleman and the pilsner wasn't bad either. I'll be making the trip regularly now. Could not recommend more.

Such a good haircut - sharp, fresh and face framing. It can be hard finding a barber that can cut thick curly hair well. Nicola did a great job, and gave me some good tips with hair care. Will definitely return :)

Always a fantastic experience, no matter which barber I get. The team always listens and always executes (my often changing briefs) to perfection. Nice relaxing ambience where I never feel like I’m getting rushed out of there. Use of warm towels and beer are the little finishing touches on top that ensure I keep coming back. Thank you!

Friendly service and at a good price. This was my first hair cut since before covid so my hair was a mess. Nicola was very polite, and my hair cut was fantastic. I will be coming back again.

Truly an excellent experience visiting this barber shop. This was my first visit to the black sheep barber and my barber was Nicola. Nicola is definitely a pro barber. He continuously communicated with me to ensure that my hair are cut according to my requirements. We also had a good chat during my haircut. Definitely the best haircut I've ever had and will be visiting again.

Moved into the area. Thought about traveling back to the old hood to visit regular barber. So glad I decided to drop in and give Matt at Barber Black Sheep a go. Returned 5 weeks later. Now I have a new regular. Extremely happy with the cut, my partner says best yet and I agree. Matt talks u through the process to ensure the end result is a success. Friendly chat and drink on arrival. Highly recommend.

Had an appointment with Nicola. His attention to detail and what I wanted, was immaculate. He was very patient with wanting to understand what I wanted before he even touched my hair, as it was a bit of a re-design. He talked me through caring for my curls and after using his technique, I woke up not even needing to touch my hair! It’s very rare to find a barber with fade skills andddd knowledge on how to cut and style curly hair. Will be coming back for sure!

Leo cut my hair and trimmed my beard today and he did an excellent job. I am growing my hair long, so he cut the split ends and cleaned it all up so that I can continue on growing it. He also provided some very helpful advice on hair care which I will be using. Thanks Leo.

Jay is an excellent barber -- skilled, attentive and flexible. His experience made him confident with foil fading and razor cutting, which one doesn't find in all barbers. He also has a kind and gentle energy, which helped to make me feel comfortable (so important for me after decades of terrible hairdresser experiences due to my gender diversity!). I would recommend his services.

I was struggling to find an excellent barber in the area until I met nick and never looked around for an alternative. Nicks attention to detail and relationship management is unparalleled and unprecedented. I always look forward to my salon visits.
