Came for a weeknight dinner and we ordered off the special drinks menu as we sat down, Mango Sticky Rice Beer and a Margarita. Both came and were the perfect start to the dinner.

For food we ordered the Chicken Jungle Curry and Beef Drunken Noodles - the curry was luxurious and flavourful and the noodles were well balanced with a bit of zing.

For a Tuesday night the venue was busy without being packed and the service was attentive and friendly.

Definitely an add to the list for quality Melbourne Fusion Fare!

If you are looking for great value for money thai food, this is your place. We went for the first time on a busy Friday night (highly recommended to book in advance) and we tried a number of dishes and cocktails. The staff were fantastic and made sure to let us know that traditional real thai food can be quite hot, so were mindful to advise us but as my partner is Thai, we eat alot of spicy food and we found it quite mild and enjoyable. Request to sit downstairs if you can, as upstairs seens to be much more open and less of an ambiance.

First time trying this Thai restaurant recommended by a friend and absolutely fell in-love with the food. It was extremely tasty, love the spice in beef cheek curry, the complement of silk tofu and warm mushrooms soup were amazing, loved every dish. And lastly the service, the waiter we had today were amazing, service with a smile and great recommendations. He made us feel so welcomed and catered all our needs.

The staff was very nice especially the girl named Pink is absolutely very kind, the food taste very delicious comparing the other Thai restaurant in Melbourne this is my favorite by far.

The food was really great and we really enjoyed it. Customer service was fantastic. They got explain every single food to us and made suggestions. They also altered the menu for us and made vegetarian option for a green curry. I would definitely go back to this place again a good experience.

Great atmosphere with comfortable and relaxing settings. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable. Food tastes great and authentic (I'm Thai).

Recently celebrated my birthday at Thai tide and absolutely love the food and warm friendly service. Our wait staff Fiat recommended some great dishes as it was our first time there. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and explain everything very clearly to us. I’ll definitely be back again. Love the tofu & crispy taro and the crispy sticky chicken.

First time to book here for a baby shower and did not disappoint! Food was great, staff are friendly and efficient, ambience was cute and quaint, creative selection of drinks too! And prices weren't bad either! Will definitely come back!

I visited Thai Tide restaurant with my girlfriend last evening and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. I had heard a lot about this restaurant and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The regional Thai cuisine and dishes were a new and delightful experience altogether. Our personal favorite was the spiced caramelized crispy chicken, which was simply delicious. We also tried their Jungle green curry, which was a bit spicy but absolutely delicious.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they guided us through the menu and suggested some popular dishes, which was a nice touch. The service was pretty fast and efficient, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great time and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Thai cuisine experience. I will definitely be coming back soon.

This place was one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. It specialises in regional Thai cuisine so you won't find any of the normal staples on its menu. Instead, you will have a selection of dishes that you've probably never heard of, packed with flavour and wonderfully prepared!

I would especially recommend the crispy chicken entree, as well as the mango sticky rice beer which was a unique experience for me.

The serving staff are lovely with enthusiasm. They give you all the information you would need for any item and check on you constantly to make sure everything is ok.

This is a really underrated spot with a brilliant ambience. It's a good spot for a date or even a moderate large friends gathering.
The menu here was filled with items outside the usual thai cuisine, but the server was kind enough to explain the menu as well.
The betel leaves were an exquisite appetizer with a very complex sweet to sour taste in just one bite. The papaya salad and the pad mee korat were so good, highly recommended papaya salad with that crispy crab making it for me! The egg fried rice was a little on the dry side, either way, it was too much for two people so we took it back home.
Ended with a mango sticky rice for the first time and it was alright, didn't quite understand the hype around it amongst locals.
Overall really good place and would highly recommend it!

Their thai cocktails are 💯 worth trying- and if you’re brave you should try the crunchy bamboo worms 🐛- they taste like chips 😂 loved every dish and the bold flavours. 100% coming back in the future. Everything was incredibly tasty!!!! 💯✨🫶🏻

Food were amazing and staff were friendly. The food came out very quickly even the one we were warned about a long wait. And they were well worth it. Would definitely go again

The best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had, and I’m Thai!!

We ordered a few menus and everything was perfect, especially the bone marrow with fried rice (forgot to take a photo of that one).

The food was okay, but not I what expected . Nothing to do with chefs, only my taste. So I didn’t give 5 stars

But the waiter whose name is Fiat is super friendly.

Because we haven’t been back to Melbourne for long time, when I said I need to some tour information from him. He recommended me many good spots, also he has nice smiles. Good for customer service, definitely a good employee!!!

What can I say, absolutely amazing experience. The waiter was brilliant, super friendly, helpful and through with explaining the menu and his service. Food was super tasty, just how I remember having it when I was over in Thailand. The atmosphere itself is perfect for a date or pleasant evening (or some cute ig pics!) Highly recommended!

You should expect food to have a bit of a kick too it, spice is very common with Thai so if you’re not big on spicy foods maybe this restaurant isn’t for you 💖

I ate here with a friend a week ago for lunch and really enjoyed my experience. I arrived a little early and was eagerly showed to my table and ordered some wine. The food was absolutely delicious and the service friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying a few dishes from the a la carte menu. A standout dish was the tom yum tiger prawn fried rice.
