The food here was incredible! Super fresh and full of flavour, well priced for the size of the servings too! Highly recommend great lunch spot!

Not many places serve a good bun bo hue (BBH) in the Melbourne CBD, but gotta say it never disappoints. It's on the pricier end being $17.50 but I'm happy to pay for it just being on the menu. It's not easy to find one that has the right amount of spice. Love it here and service is pretty quick.

The rare beef pho is delicious! A must try, as well as the BBQ pork bao buns. Not too busy at lunch time and decently priced! Not my first time here and it won’t be my last!

Had BBH, fresh and delicious with quick service. Quantity was good and refreshing. Would love to go back and try their banh mi and other things that they’ve on their menu.

I was invited here for dinner and brought a friend who knows his seafood and estuarine fish.
We were greeted and seated by the lovely Akvile and throughout the evening served by Akvile and the equally attentive Trisha.
We dined upstairs and at 7pm, the restaurant was pretty much full. We ordered a few drinks for starters - Miss Mango Martini and a Raspberry & Ginger Caipiroska. The perfect cocktails to start the evening.
For entree, we had the salmon ceviche and a simple chicken rice paper roll. Having spent time travelling through Peru, I know ceviche and this was absolutely superb. My guest couldn’t stop praising the blend of salmon flavours along with the texture and finesse of how everything was pulled together for this entree. Big tick for the first course.
Next, we had the barramundi wrapped in bamboo leaf with chilli and coleslaw - shoot me now! It was superb and I mean superb. Freshly wrapped in the leaves, it was warm and tasty with a small side salad that was a perfect accompaniment. Bonus was that another sneaky serve of barramundi was wrapped in another bamboo leaf that we uncovered. Winner! Dinner just got better. My signature lamb ribs with Asian sticky sauce, coleslaw and steak bun bao were ‘melt in the mouth’ delicious and somewhat of a messy eating experience. Heck - finger licking is okay right?
The staff were so, so good. They know how to swoop in and take dishes that were finished and begin the next course. Their attentive service was much appreciated.
My guest was so impressed by the salmon ceviche he would have had the ceviche again instead of dessert. But we were both full and passed on anything further.
Our privilege was to meet the chef who came out and greeted us with the usual Asian humbleness and was grateful for our kind words on his culinary talents. I’ve always found meeting the chef a privilege, as they are the creators of the meal and yet don’t always see the joy they bring to their customers.
All round, an absolutely memorable evening with sumptuous food, appealing decor and considerate staff. @littlebrothers you have a magical formula. I look forward to visiting again and will most certainly recommend to my colleagues, family and friends.
Congratulations to the owners for not just completing a very exciting makeover of the premises but maintaining the quality and service of Little Brothers.
Notes: Wheelchair friendly downstairs. Kid friendly. Clean toilets. Dietaries catered for. Parking isn’t too bad but tonight we caught public transport. Trains full with Bulldog and Cats supporters from the Marvel Stadium Game. Go doggies.

One of my favourite cheap & cheerful places. Upstairs is surprisingly cute decor - tight spacing but you get lovely exposed NY warehouse-style brick. Decent Pho, especially the broth.

If this place is the little brother I pray to god I’ll meet the big brother. Bahn me was crispy, salty, sweet, spicy. I didn’t even know I could experience all that with one bite but at little brother I did. The location is super cool, great spot to eat your food and watch the NPCs of the city walk past and talk to each other about the salt and vinegar rice cracker they ate on the weekend. I approve. Good job lil bro.

Un-Phở-getable, with friendly staff to match. Despite a significant lunchtime rush, they still manage to prepare and provide delicious meals in a jiff’. Highly recommended!

Warm and friendly service in a funky warehouse space. Bun bowls and pho are good prices. Open Saturday nights with $5 happy hour wines and beers

I attended the Little Brother restaurant and they’ve got such a wide selection of foods!! But I loved their bun bo hue and iced coffee so much! Definitely excited to try more next time I come back. The interior design is also so lovely! It makes me feel so comfortable dining in their beautiful restaurant.

What a beautiful hidden gem of a place. Three of us went there for a Friday evening dinner. Loved everything about the place. The decor, the food, the service were amazing. Simple drinks list too but there is something for everyone. We got few different share plates and they were all very tasty and fresh. You don't have to break the bank to dine here too. Look forward to visiting again.

Thank you Little Brother.

Best banh mi in the CBD, in my opinion! Lovely wait staff too, an added bonus :)

Staff were very lovely people who helped accommodate our large group (11ppl). Friendly and helpful with explaining menu items and were prompt with serving food. Food was a little cold (for a banh mi) but was close to closing time. Vietnamese salad was my favourite here :)

I'm a local, have tried most places in the area and eat lunch here nearly every day! It's such great quality food with quick and efficient service. The staff are super friendly too! Perfect place to go for lunch or if you want a quality, well priced & fast work-lunch. They have a great dinner menu and setting also.

Really good food and the restaurant is cosy; and it’ll remain my favourite Vietnamese restaurant! The build your own bao was nice but the lamb ribs should come boneless as it was annoying having to take it off before sandwiching it in the bao. Anyways, that’s a really trivial thing and some people may or may not like it.

I can recommend this place for a group lunch. Our group booked a table just before the lunch rush and were served in just a few minutes. The prices are excellent and food very tasty. The staff are very accommodating and helpful, especially with the tricky process of ordering. Thanks guys!
