This Turkish gem hidden away along the busy road was an amazing find!

The rice was cooked to perfection, the meats were grilled superbly, chips were crisp and fresh with a taste of turkish authenticity!

The dips tastes amazing which was accompanied with the bread.

Overall it was a very delicious experience with comfortable sofas by the Window and friendly staff!

Amazing! 9 pm on a Thursday, hungry and looking for something quick - my partner says you have to try this kebab. OMG! I had the Adana (? I think) lamb, roasted over charcoal with fresh salad in what looks/tastes like a house made pide. Hands down the best kebab I have ever eaten! Very personable service, and great ambiance with cool French music playing in the background. Going back tomorrow for another.

Shortly after arrival from Adana, Turkey we craved for Turkish food in Melbourne. After quick search in the area, we came across Likya. We gave a call and asked few things about menu. We then ordered Adana Kebap, Chicken Skewers, ayran and baklava. Being Turkish, I must admit I was impressed by the taste, amount of meat, quality of mezzes, bread and baklava. Overall, food was very tasty and filling. Very good quality/price ratio. I would highly recommend this place.

Dined here this week and had the best lamb kebab I've ever tasted. While the cafe is small and simple it has a great atmosphere and the customer service is great, very friendly and obliging. Oh and the chips were awesome as well. I will definitely eat here again. I thoroughly recommend you try the food here.

Love the shish kebab, lamb is great, very juicy and tender. The flavours are on point.
The staff are super friendly, even gave us a free Turkish delight to finish our meal off, and it tastes just like the ones I’ve had in Turkey. Awesome place, will definitely come again.

Authentic food in an immaculately clean restaurant. It was perfect for our meaty and savoury cravings. Definitely recommend if anyone wanna eat tasty clean food. Tufan was lovey and welcoming as time allowed him yo chat with us, lovey hospitality.

The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I Was craving Turkish food and came here with my wife and daughter, the food was fresh, tasty and the owners are really friendly, family owned. The dip, spicy capsicum ..I could not stop eating it on their fresh bread. I had the Adana and my wife had the Iskender and both were very tasty. The portions are quite generous!
Great place. Highly recommend.

We ate in, and what a pleasant surprise. Our first time there and absolutely loved it. I always judge a place on their falafel, and these were beautiful. Freshly cooked, and based on their family recipe. Everything was home made, and we left nothing on our plates.

The chicken was beautifully cooked, the gozleme so tasty and we finished with the yummiest baklava you’ll ever find in Melbourne, trust me I’ve tried a lot!

Wow, I can't believe I hadn't been here before, the mixed kebab was PERFECT. Extremely legit Turkish place with high-quality lamb, definitely getting the shish and meatballs next time. The fresh tabouleh was the best I've had in Victoria. This was the best kebab I've had in the inner North and far superior to the late-night places on Brunswick Street. (EDIT: Likya themselves are on Rathdowne Street - but my previous go-to kebabs were on Brunswick or Lygon. Now it's Likya!)

The owner Tufan introduced himself, super friendly and is an excellent chef - something you don't normally get at a kebab shop.

But this is much more than a kebab shop, the platters looked incredible, fantastic prices for a 2-8 person meal if you like a place that feels like you're at a friend's house. I'll be back as soon as possible because I want to try everything!
