Gorilla Sushi

Very fresh sushi with the most delicious ingredients by far, I think my most recently purchase from here was the best sushi I have ever eaten so far from any place!
very affordable and great deals available.
One of the best sushi places I have been to , open late on weekends which is great no other sushi places are open then.
The food is made fresh and to order , I ordered recently on Uber eats as well late on the weekend it was all freshly made highly recommend ! 10/10!
staff are also very lovely and kind and very clean 🍣🍱🏆

2am sushi cravings and guess who came to the rescue? This is the best sushi I have had in a very long time.

Such a great variety at very reasonable prices, everything was so fresh and full of flavour.

We went a bit wild and ordered so much (no such thing as too much) but I can not fault a single item we ordered.

Will be ordering again, and again!

Some of the best sushi I have ever ordered but the opening hours and constant changing makes me sad. I consistently order the spiced salmon nigiri and it is incredible but there are no set opening hours and operating times vary.

I really love the food here so it upsets me that I have to make such a poor review.

My partner and I ordered from ubereats. We waited 2 hours for our order only for it to be cancelled. This should not be acceptable practice. The company was still listed as open and the driver was waiting outside - I saw them on the map - so I see no reason why the order had to be cancelled. If you didn’t want to or couldn’t send my order, you should have cancelled it immediately or within 5 minutes instead of making us wait 2 hours only to leave us hungry. This is absolutely unacceptable. Imagine if a diabetic person or someone with gastritis had their order canceled like this?

Loved the Crispy Salmon Sushi Roll. Combination of ginger and salmon went really well. Quality of the seaweed tasted better and superior to regular sushi stores. The packaging is really nice.I ordered through UberEats and would certainly visit them after the lockdown. Keep it up guys, see ya soon.

Ordered through Uber eats, it came precise as per description and you could tell it was made with a lot of love! Can’t wait to go and eat there in person! If the take away is so good and fresh, I can’t immagine how could be done in!

Spoilers - Gorilla Sushi is my FAVOURITE sushi place in the city, and in fact all of Victoria!

Taking over the old sushi and smoothie place (not great), I didn't quite know what to expect. But I popped in to give it a try and was blown away by the range, quality, flavour and of course, the wonderful staff! Immediately I went right back upstairs, told all my colleagues and made each one come down just to try it. I've since done that with all my friends in the city!

The team is so welcoming and the counter is always stocked with delicious sushi and nigiri to try... And if it's not, they will make it there and then for you. Honestly, there's nothing better than chowing down on fresh sushi, and Gorilla Sushi always delivers.

You've got no excuse. If you work in the city, or if you are just passing by, head down Bourke Street and grab something. And make sure you tell them Nathan sent you!!

This was the best sushi I have had in forever!!! They even wrote a cute little thank you on my order which made my day! 100% would eat this every single day if I could :))

ABSOLUTELY UNREAL SUSHI. Can't say I had high hopes for sushi at midnight but everything was fresh and tasty as hell
