There is no better place than this for taste and value. I used to eat here 30 years ago when I was a kid. It has happy memories. The food taste is even better now and service is also better.

Super great Indian food at reasonable rate

they make the Samosas fresh and you can really tell, it was bloody delicious. I eat a lot of Indian food too and this Samosa was up there. really nice authentic family run business, when I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back!

I am an international student from India and I wanted to have Indian food near Melbourne CBD. And I found this amazing restaurant near Queens Victoria Market.
The ambience is fantastic, you will feel at home listening to Bollywood songs. I ordered Veg Thali the first time I visited this place and it was super delicious with 3 curries and butter naan with rice and it was truly give me a taste of typical Indian cuisine.
The best part of this place is that they have a variety of menus as compared to other restaurants in the CBD area from Badaloo, Biryani, Thali and more
Mango Lassi is a must with any dish you order
I recommend it to everyone who is a new goer or a fan of Indian cuisine

Absolutely incredible food. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Australia. This restaurant is so cozy. The owners are the most lovely, warm, and welcoming people. That’s not all! The portion sizes are spectacular, I typically eat a lot, and one thali almost put me to sleep. THATS NOT ALL! The prices are so affordable. I absolutely love this place. Guaranteed regular spot after my first visit!

The food was really delicious and authentic. The staff is very cooperative and always try to maintain the same quality and quantity of food. And most importantly hygiene is maintained very well.

I have been coming here and getting takeaways since 2009.... The food and service has always been great. Never really have had a bad meal, in fact on this night I asked for less rice, as my body doesn't seem to like this grain much these days. And there was just the right amount on the plate...
Butter Chicken is Always my go to, but the curry prawns were simply so yum, nice big and juicy. The meat lovers or the vegetarian plates are another go to, as is the mango chutney, garlic naans, and pappadums with yoghurt, and tamerin, "Devine!!!"...
I Wish they would play music in the restaurant, gets abit quiet when only a few people in... Plus it would set off a better ambiance if Indian music was playing....
