We are visiting Melbourne and happened across this place. We absolutely loved our meal. Spicy and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone that loves good food especially Indian 😋

The reviews are right. Best biryani in city. Finding parking could be an issue, but all worth the trip. Proper Hyderabadi biryani. Very fresh and tasty at a very reasonable price.

It surprisingly good. Very tasty and spicy. It needs a bigger seating area. The meat is so tender. It’s must try food in the cbd. So busy around 8:00 pm. Get in quick before the peak. If you love spicy it’s for you. Need one in western suburbs.

Have been coming to Biryani House for years as I used to live around the corner, but today was my first time at their new La Trobe / King corner location. The atmosphere and decor were great and the staff are very friendly.

The food was delicious. Initially, I was going to eat lunch at the restaurant but ran out of time due to work commitments. The waiters' honesty was impressive because they gave me money back after paying to dine in and changing to take away. And the sweet Lassi, both mango and plain, are amazing.

Such a nice experience. Order chicken baryani and I give 10 out of 10 for taste. Rice was cooked really well. Bryani spies were not out of order, they look really taste while you are eating.
Easy going staff, when we arrived it was full house still the way staff was doing its job was remarkable . Thanks for the food. Keep up the good work.

$11.99 two meat curries lunch deal is staple for me since last 4years.. Lunch menu is same almost everyday but I am not disappointed at all coz service is quick and taste is same. Taste, Value for Money and service is consistent. Overall happy to go back. Lunch deal is not available on sat n sun their biryani is OK for me as it’s not a spicy one.

Absolutely delighted by their food. We ordered chicken and veg biryani, lamb qorma, qoubani meetha and gajar halwa. Big orders twice for our corporate event. Attendees were thoroughly impressed by the quality of food.

Used to buy a lot of biryani there around 2010 to 2012.
Back in Melbourne after a hiatus of 12 years and went back for a feed.
They moved 2 doors down to a better location, the big fat guy that was the owner is nowhere to be seen but the lady there was very very helpful and welcoming.
But the biryani was just as good as before, it was well worth the visit.
No idea how their biryani gravy (Mirchi Ka Salan) is so delicious but I want their recipe.

Everyone know’s Biryani house which recently open to new location at the corner of king street and La Trobe st and I tried their Biryani and other dishes which really very good in taste and one important thing of biryani house you can order here as per your taste may be mild ,medium or spicy ……but you have to explain them how much spicy or medium you want .

I usually visit the restaurant 2-3 times a week ,when their biryani is ready sometimes ,I even get in two minutes maximum but when they are very busy ,they take their time to prepare food . And also their two hand washbasin where you can easily wash your hand and sanitise .
Just one thing we need to remember ,it’s a taste of Hyderabad cuisine and we can’t expect some dishes as usual we eat ,name can be same but style of making food or taste can be different….

I can't get enough of Biriyani House! Their biriyanis are fantastic, and they've become our go-to place to satisfy our biriyani cravings. The flavours are so close to authentic, it feels like a culinary journey to the heart of India with every bite. The biriyanis are incredibly delicious and leave you wanting more!

But let me tell you about their Friday special, the Haleem – a Hyderabadi delicacy that's truly unique. Made from pounded meat and blended wheat and lentils, it's a symphony of flavours that I can't get enough of. It's a popular dish, and we've been disappointed before when it sold out quickly. However, this time, we learned from our past experience and made sure to be there right at 6.30 pm. And boy, was it worth it! The Haleem was simply divine, bursting with amazing taste and flavours that left us in awe.

The prices at Biriyani House are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions and the fact that the food is made fresh. Unsurprisingly, this place is always bustling with customers, but the slight wait is absolutely worth it. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even better.

The biriyanis and the Haleem were cooked to perfection, and the spice level was just right for our Aussie taste buds – moderately spicy, adding a delightful kick without overwhelming the palate.

I can't wait to visit Biriyani House again to relish their delightful biriyanis and savour another serving of their heavenly Haleem. If you're a fan of biriyani and love to explore unique flavours, this restaurant is a must-visit. You won't be disappointed

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! The biryani and chai were amazing.

Biryani House catered for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. A big thank you to Aleem and his staff. All our guests could not stop talking about how good the food was. Food was one of the most important things when planning our Anniversary and Biryani house exceeded our expectations. There was more than enough food, our guests could help themselves as many times as they wanted. We got many compliments from our guests, saying that the mutton biryani was exactly like what they would eat in Hyderabad. We highly recommend Biryani house, you surely will not be disappointed.

Ordered a goat biryani. Got it with complimentary chutney. Good amount of meat I should say. I was expecting like one or two pieces but it has like 5. Anyways, nicely cooked and tender meat, and delicious overall and only for 14 AUD.

This was one of my first indian restaurant experiences ever years ago and it's still as good as I remember today!!

Very unexpected service. However dealing with many Indian cuisines it’s something you should never expect. Besides the bright yellow walls the food was an 8/10. They did not manage to ruin the the chicken 65 & chicken biriyani. I would of loved to have tasted more of the masala but other than that. It was tops!
