Binary Cafe

New chef, amazing new menu! What a treat. A lovely little cafe just above street level with tasty treats. A huge variety of salads and sangas but a brand new a la carte menu is fantastic to see. We had the fritters and the smashed avo. Both were elite. It’s so hard to find good quality brunch menus in the CBD but these were delish. House cured salmon was awesome too. Also an awesome array of sweet treats to accompany the coffee. Will be back!

Despite only ordering a humble coffee, I cannot give a lower rating than this.
Really top quality service with a smile and friendliness, even when we rocked up late post the lunch time rush.
It's late in the day, but they were still willing to give their best service.

The coffee itself? Fantastic - one of the better ones I had on my recent Melbourne trip, and certainly I remember the beverage better than most of the content of the conversation of my meeting there.

One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. Even though it's part of a building it still feels very welcoming. Corporate more than hip during the day, and still full of homely vibes with the super kind staff and excellent coffee. And there are fresh flowers every single day!
Lunch starts at 10, loads of healthy options.
Special shout-out to the lovely lady today, I was suffering the flu while waiting for my takeaway coffee, and the she noticed, and brought me a free lemon honey tea. Feeling so sick, but it made my day so special. Just a gorgeous group of people. Did I mention great take away coffee?

Great service and great lattes! What I get is what I order every time, and considering how busy this cafe is all day long, the staff are great.

Always terrific coffee here at Binary and very convenient for those of us who work upstairs in the building at 101 Collins Street.
It's a great option during lunch break.

Pretty solid coffee - most places completely butcher their espressos but this was very pleasant.

Best coffee around 101

Nice staff although not the most attentive, good spot, but disappointing eggs. I asked for poached egfs on sourdough but they were literally soft boiled. The sourdough is very thin and therefore served a bit too crispy. Coffee is fine but not particularly great either.

Average spot

One star for service, work in the building and used to come here but they are the rudest people so I will go elsewhere.
