Excellent service from the front desk (Charles) and linked us in directly with the jeweller. Fixed sentimental (and not cheap) gold and diamond earrings which had a cracked hoop - (ones that an unnamed Australian Company of Diamonds declined to look at because we didn’t purchase from them). Excellent workmanship and a great result - within the timeframe stated and a good price for complex work. Bravo. We will be back for regular service of our other rings. Thanks

First brought my engagement ring from them back in 1983/84, and my wedding ring and eternity ring was also made by MDT, which I've loved the design all these years and still do. I had another band made with diamonds inserted in the ring and love it. What I love about MDT is I take my rings into be cleaned and they do it for free as they are their jewellery they made and check the claws on my rings as well. I now live in Darwin, so about yearly or when I get down to Melbourne, i drop in to have my rings cleaned and looked at.

I took my engagement ring to be resized at MDT design after having it resized previously elsewhere but still not being the right fit. They were so helpful and gave great advice about what would be the right size and they got it perfect. The ring came back in perfect condition. I am very pleased with their service.

Super service! I brought my engagement ring to resize and black rhodium plate. It isn't one of their rings and made from a cheap material but their service is top notch and I never feel judged. Thank you for being so warm, helpful, efficient and reasonably priced. I will continue to go back and back again.

MDT design are fantastic to deal with. I made an appointment with Charles and he took his time to explain various options that suited me. He helped me pick the best diamond for the ring I required. He even had the patience to see me on multiple occasions even at short notice. I couldn't be happier with the service Charles and the team provided. The final result was a ring that looked amazing, even better than I thought it would. 12 months later I booked in for my free annual jewellery clean and the ring looked brand-new. I have used MDT Design on several occasions to resize my wife’s rings as well as getting them appraised for insurance. I have also used them to repair a broken claws on my wife’s ring. I have found them very professional in their service and jewellery workmanship. I fully trust them to do an excellent and speedy job, and will continue to use them into the future.

I needed to get a silver ring resized from a reference photo of another ring and MDTdesign was excellent from start to finish. Charles was very professional and double checked both the new size of the ring, the integrity of the raw gem for the resizing, and guided me through every step of the process. The craftsmanship was excellent and completed on time with a very impressive turnaround. My partner loved her surprise birthday gift - I highly recommend MDTdesign and will surely come back again!

It has taken me far too long to review MDTdesign (in Perth we take our time). If ever a business deserved a 5 star rating it's this one. It hasn't mattered whether they have designed a ring for us, repaired or cleaned rings they have done so with great professionalism and personality. I'm sure the whole team are fantastic - and I shouldn't pick out individuals (particularly as we don't see those in the workshop) but thanks Charles and Nick. The experience with MDT was excellent from beginning to end. While quality counts. Firstly I was attracted by the window display, then I am really impressed by the solid quality of all their rings. They present craftsmanship and top choices of gemstones. I tried many and end up getting a yellow diamond ring at my second visit. All the people there give your comfortable and happy feeling. MDT Designs have been faultless from the day hubby went in to design my engagement ring back in 2009.

Since then, we’ve been back to have my wedding band and engagement ring resized twice, and they understood the importance of not cutting my wedding band to resize it.

This year, we have worked closely with Charles, who helped me pick the perfect eternity ring to suit my wedding band and engagement ring, and then he was there to guide me in buying the perfect pendant necklace.

There is no judgement, and no trying to upsell you, or convince you to spend more money ‘just because’. Charles could have easily convinced me to spend more on my eternity ring, but he was honest with what complimented my set already.

Every time we walk in, we are treated like family by everyone. They will take my rings and give them a quick clean and just some of the most beautiful we’ve ever met.

I approached MDT about repairing an old (20+ year) ring of theirs that had sustained some damage. Charles was friendly, and very helpful in explaining the options available.
