I just had the BEST experience at Heading out Fitzroy !! I came in with brown hair and blonde highlights which was poorly done from a previous hairdresser I went to so I decided to go back to red!

I’m always very skeptical about getting red because no one ever gets the colour right but both Rika and Lissette did an incredible job and my hair is the exact colour I was hoping for ! And no bleach was used !!!!!!

Rika washed my hair thoroughly and properly and gave me an incredible head massage!! Both Rika and Lissette were so lovely and really looked after me today. I absolutely love this salon and will never go anyone else again! Another extremely successful day at Heading our Hair and Beauty !! I feel my super sexy alternative self again! I got a full head of weft hair extensions here and the entire team were so lovely. I wasn’t super sure about the process and details of it all but every staff member who helped me out were so sweet and explained everything very clearly. I felt very comfortable and extremely well looked after through the entire process.

The salon has a very welcoming and kind vibe to it. My friend recommended me to the salon and introduced me to Rika, she did such a great job and was very considerate. She payed close attention to my requests and I am grateful for her efforts. Would definitely recommend <3

Have been coming to Heading Out (Fitzroy) for over 2 years now and absolutely love it. I always look forward to my appointments and seeing Caterina and her two gorgeous dogs, Coco & Louis. Mai-Ly is so wonderful and such an expert, nailing my colour every time. I also saw Rika recently for a cut and blow wave and was really impressed- super lovely and made sure the cut/ style was perfect before letting me go. Highly recommend!

I had an incredible experience at Heading Out recently. The team delivered a flawless keratin treatment, leaving my hair looking healthier than ever. I also got it colored. The color is absolutely perfect, and just what I wanted and my once-frizzy hair now feels amazing and silky smooth. Kudos to the talented and friendly staff. Would recommend 100%!

i only ask for rika to cut my hair every time so i don’t know what the others are like, but this place is great! a bit on the pricier side of things i think, but i think it’s also very worth it! also they provide complimentary wine! it’s a nice touch :) rika is amazing. so much attention to detail and i trust her completely.

After a last minute cancellation, they fit me in with some juggling. They also realised the job was a bit bigger than anticipated but did not make me feel bad for it they just made it work. Rika was awesome and did an amazing job. I just loved the way everyone worked together as a team to make it all happen :)

Lisette is talented and super lovely - she really takes the time to listen and make you feel comfortable. Also love that she genuinely shares in your excitement/hair goals!

I certainly got what I payed for. Not only a brilliant haircut..styled ofcourse but the treatment used made my hair feel fresh and has continued to grow just the way I wanted it. Such good vibes from all the staff too!....happy days

Helped with a hair emergency! They fit us in to do our hair for a wedding when our hair dresser bailed! They fit us in at a moments notice on a Sunday! Fantastic

Tai did an amazing job on my colour and Rika did the all the staff are very kind and professional.

The staff at the salon were all so friendly and welcoming. Caterina styled my hair for my brother's wedding and with very little direction from me she produced an absolutely amazing result, I loved it! I got so many compliments. The salon is really lovely and makes you feel very relaxed.

Had such a wonderful experience with Smiley who cut both my kids hair (both preschoolers). She was so gentle and kind, did a great cut and happily shared helpful advice for caring for kids hair at home. The kids loved it too!
