My experience at this Korean restaurant was truly amazing!

The Korean Fried Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a perfect blend of sweet and spicy seasoning.

The Seafood Ramen was rich with seafood, making the broth refreshing and savory.

The Cheese Tteokbokki harmoniously combined the creaminess of the cheese with the sweet taste of the rice cakes, and the Corn Cheese was a delightful mix of smooth cheese and sweet corn

The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great, making me want to visit again!

Had a great time trying 🇰🇷🍽Authentic Korean cuisine in Chadstone cooked by a lovely Korean lady👩🏻‍🦱

I love their🍗 Boneless Cream Onion. It's deep-fried chicken without bones, covered in a yummy mayo cream sauce and topped with sliced onions🧅
This is my favorite of tonight! It's surprisingly juicy inaide

🐙 Seafood Pancake

🥩🥘🍚 Hot Pot Bulgogi with Rice
Family Korean dish made with thin slices of beef cooked in a special sauce

🍄Gimbap
Korean sushi rolls filled with mushrooms and other yummy ingredients

Craving for Korean food? Visit @busanchicken.au at Chadstone for a mouthwatering and memorable Korean street food feast with your friends and family this weekend, and guess what you can enjoy the K-food over soju/rice wine.

What we had:

Sweet chilli Korean fried wings,
Pork belly kimchi pancake,
Chapaghetti noodles,
Fried rice cakes,
Korean rice wine

We absolutely loved the fried wings and the kimchi pancake, which are highly recommended. The fried wings were so juicy, crispy and tender, and nice flavours too. The pork belly kimchi pancake was mildly spicy but was so addictive and delicious. The noodles were quite comforting to eat and were very tasty. The fried rice cakes were super crispy and a great way to start the meal with.

The food here is really of good quality and great flavours. The prices are super reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming people and have a fast service here.

@busanchicken.au📍Loved the vibes here at Busan Chicken which is located close to Holmesglen station- the menu is casual and affordable with heaps of delicious street food options on offer. Really takes us back to Korea 😭💖🇰🇷

Highlight was definitely the Korean Fried Chicken! So yummy ($39 for half half). We got the special boneless gold and snow cheese 🧀😋 both were delish. Also really enjoyed the K sausage and rice cake skewers ($12) which reminded us of all the street food in Seoul!

The Silken tofu Seafood ramen ($17)was also comforting for the cooler weather and I never complain about instant ramen 🍜😋 The tuna gimbap ($10)was okay but not our favourite. The Chestnut Rice Wine is a must! ($16)

Absolutely loved the food. Also rare to find shops that open until 11pm on a Saturday (at the time of writing this review). The food was amazing, we ordered the gim bap, creamy rose tteokbokki, and onion cream fried chicken. Everything was way above expectations. Would definitely come back!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Busan Chicken, an authentic Korean street food restaurant located in Chadstone. Despite its small size, this hidden gem boasts an impressive 4.8-star rating from 55 Google reviews. Here's our rundown of our dining experience:

Featured Dishes:

K-Set (Ramen & Gimbap)
Pork Belly Kimchi Pancake
Yuringi (유린기) - Fried Chicken & Salad
Corn Cheese
Chestnut Rice Wine (Makgeolli)
The Pork Belly Kimchi Pancake was a standout. The layers of pork belly atop the pancake were generously portioned and pan-fried to a perfect crispness. When paired with their homemade sauce, especially complemented by the green onions and chili, it was an explosion of flavors that left us craving for more. Even my husband, who isn't usually fond of onions, agreed that the garnish added the perfect touch to the dish.

We also tried the highly recommended Yuringi, a delightful dish that combines the succulent flavors of fried chicken with the freshness of salad. What truly sets the Yuringi fried chicken salad apart is its unique dressing, making it an ideal choice for a light and refreshing meal.

Authentic Korean fried chicken! Crunchy outside, tender and juicy inside coated with spices. The place shuts at 11pm. Such a temptation for people live close and is craving for food at night!

We decided to try this place because we miss the food we had in Korea and the place didn’t disappoint! We loved the authenticity of the place, including the self service station. Each piece of chicken was juicy and the sauce we had it with on the side was delicious. The Fried Basket dipped in topokki is such a good combo. The only thing that we found could have been improved, was the consistency of the gimbap which was a bit soft compared to what we are used to . For 4 dishes between 2 people, the total came out quite cheap and I’m glad they offer a 5% discount with cash. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area!

You know a place is good when it's already popping at 5pm on a Sunday.

This place has a rocking vibe - it's a new chicken outlet that's cool enough to attract crowds but laid back enough to draw in young families. Most diners were speaking Korean when we visited.

We had the original topikki, which had tender fishcake, soft egg, chewy dumplings and plenty of rice cakes all simmered in a thick sauce. The sauce was rich, sweet and spicy without being overly hot.

I enjoyed the inclusion of potato and rice cakes in the fried chicken - it provided textural contrast, although I've had crispier Korean fried chicken before. We had the second spiciest sauce, but it was quite manageable, so next time we'd get volcano level.

We love it here!

Our favourites? Bibimpap, Gold Chicken, Corn Cheese, and Corndog. 🤗

The service is also great!

I highly recommend Busan Chicken whenever you have that Korean food craving and korean eating experience with excellent and friendly service.

Parking, btw is at the back and not recommend parking in front of the resto.

Enjoy!

Just opposite Holmesglen Station @busanchicken.au will satisfy your late night korean pocha/street food cravings 🍗🍻. Their fried chicken and beef rib dishes were so crispy on the outside and dripppped with juice on the inside. Their corn dog even had a cheese pull even after sitting around while I took photos so I can only imagine how it would have been fresh on the table 😮‍💨. The rose tteokbokki was super creamy and the rice cakes were SO chewy however since it was very saucy we wished there were ramen or glass noodles added!! The price is suuuper affordable for the serving size so defs student budget friendly 🤝.

The most impressive thing to me is the service. She is very nice, enthusiastic and humorous. Moreover, the food here is also very yummy. I highly recommend Sweet Chilli Chicken, and Original Topokki (eat with Ramen, and then you can mix the sauce). And side dishes are also very tasty. I definitely will come back here several times.

Had stone rice and fried wing . Cons first , I ordered most hot for dish , but only hot on tongue , not burn in stomach .
BUT ! The wings were so crisp and juicy ! The fried chicken I had in other shop before either over fried so skin tasted good but meat is dry or too much crumbs . But this is both good skin dodgy juicy meat , also the sauce just soft .
All I expected is they offer hotter sauce and chilly next time

Sweet chilli chicken was very tasty and not really spicy.

Volcano chicken has a good kick and leaves you with that tingly "I've had chilli" feeling on your tongue.

Both dishes have a good crunch under a generous coating of sauce.

Not exactly cheap at $38 for 2 takeaway dishes but a nice treat.

This is definitely the best Korean chicken restaurant I have ever visited, Also, the deep-fried pork ribs seasoned with soy sauce served with the special noodle salad were one of best you must try. And of course, you can't forget about the mouth-watering tteokbokki that comes in a variety of flavors to satisfy all taste preferences. But what really made this dining experience stand out was the exceptional kindness and top-notch service provided by the owner. Overall, this is without a doubt the best Korean restaurant I have ever visited.
