I have been delighted with the service I have received from MD Financial planning.
They assisted me with very complex planning regarding 2 x Aged care placements. They simplified a very complex process and have been a blessing in working through the plethora of rules that surround Aged care and Estate management.

Mary is amazing.

Following a very positive meeting in early April 2024 and the promise of an email summarising of our conversation and a schedule of fees, I've received nothing. Over the past almost 7 weeks I've reached out numerous times via email and phone, but still no response. I feel I have no alternative but leave a negative review as I've been ghosted. If MD Financial are too busy or are not interested in my business then that is their prerogative, but have the professional curtesy to advise me.

I have never experienced a business so unprofessional and negligent. We are completely and utterly appalled.

Sure, our first meeting in the office was great, Mary was very friendly and assuring, appointed as the Centrelink correspondence nominee for both my parents to take care of their steps to retirement and also buying a home.
After a follow up phone call with Mary to let her know they had found a home and the application for pension can begin (so they could save money on their stamp duty as senior concession holders) she assured me she would get the ball rolling... and that is where her apparent "service" stopped.

Some nominee she turned out to be. We would have had better communication from a Uber driver.
Multiple emails completely ignored, phone calls going nowhere with receptionists "passing on an urgent message for her to call you back" AT LEAST 5-10 TIMES!

It is now too late for anything to be done, costing my family well over $30,000.

After seeing other similar reviews of this business, all I can say is stay away.
THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!

I found my wife very upset recently after finally realising she has been ghosted by the main advisor there. After an initial meeting where all went well, she offered to set up some financial scenarios for her parents who had just gone into aged care. Then after hearing nothing for a couple of weeks my wife tried to touch base & emailed & then calling. The emails were never answered and her staff just make excuses when my wife would call. Now thanks to this delay, her parents Government subsidy respite has finished & we'll be paying big dollars for their accommodation because we haven't worked out the finances & got a plan in place. Also now we have to try find someone else to help with this because this company has wasted our time. So I would say after seeing the grief this has caused us, stay away from this mob.

The lead adviser MD provides all promises up front and then ghosts you and never responds to emails, texts, phone numbers. TBH I am starting to this this company is fraudulent. Our issue has been in train for close to 2 years. I see other people have also experienced this. I think this company needs to be investigated by the financial services ombudsman

I had been given the details of this company by a current client of theirs. I had tried to make contact with via text message to one party 3 times over the period of 3 weeks, to which i got no reply, despite seeing msg had been viewed. I also emailed another party from the company again with no response.
I am HIGHLY disappointed with the lack of communication, i understand that its a busy time of year. However all that needed to be said was "at this stage we are not taking any new clients" or anything to that regards. to this day i am still yet to receive ANY response and would NOT recommend this company.
