When we are about to order a chicken to be safe but then all of a sudden a quick change of mind when we see the food of the couple beside our table 😅 Viola! Curry fish head is the best choice, and even the Lychee Cuttlefish ball with kiwi sauce is goog too. The famousTeddy Bear Milk Tea & Strawberry Yakult compliments the entree & meal. Delicioso 😋👌 Service is superb too. Why because we arrived 30 minutes before they close but then even it is over 3pm, Joshmand let us stay longer. He is the niciest restaurant manager and he really knows how to recommend food when it is your first time to visit and he wll look after you. We will definitely come back to try the other food on the menu.

The best chili crab in Melbourne. All the other dishes are super tasty and prepare to get messy because it’s so yummy. Definitely going back for sure. All staff are lovely n helpful but the food it’s so yummy!!!!

A MUST TRY is their Mud Crab!🦀 OMG! It was the best I’ve ever tried! They use milky soup mix with some herbs! Amazing flavor and very fresh quality 💛

The Salted Egg Prawn Toast🦐 was an absolutely a good entrée! Love their combination especially with the mayo🤤

First visit. We were impressed with place. Clean and neat, unique design. The meals were great and taste wonderful, tho its fusion price. Size is for 1 person. The milk tea was one and only. The toilet can be done better. Overall, we had good experience for our special day.

We had the prawn toast and salt and pepper squid for starters, followed by the combination laksa.

Ive had a lot of prawn toast and this was one of, if not the best Ive had. A generous amount of prawn with a crispy fried bread on the outside coated with sesame seeds.

All dishes had great depth of flavours and perfect balance of seasoning. All the meat and seafood was fresh and tender.

Amazing Malay food with plenty of flavour.

The Kway Teoh was delicious with a kick og spice (and I appreciate the prawn tails are peeled).

Their signature noodles with garlic pork belly is a favourite and doesnt disappointed. Stay skewers are juicy too.

Great service all around in a clean environment. This place is certainly worth checking out.

I ordered seafood Laksa, which was 10 out of 10, the soup was thick and very well balanced in flavor, with fresh seafood which was very pleasent.
Other firnds ordered different food like black garlic pork belly which is something i'll go back for.
Bejin dock was also very good.

The restaurant is very bright, clean and inviting. Service was great, with lots of smiles, water top ups and accomodating. The prices seem high but the servings are generous and flavoursome. I don't mind the 50c fee for the take away container, especially when they pack it away for you and neatly glad wrapped it too. Teddy bear in the milk tea.. cute, but a little pricey.
Fish head curry was massive, with good chunks of fish. Slightly over powered curry. Beef rendang was delicious. I'm not sure if it was wagyu because it was a little chewy.
The Sambal seafood was great! Lots of flavours and sambal.

Throwback to the delicious dishes my friend and I had at Niubi on 22 January 2021 (omg so long ago?! 😱)

I got their Hainan Chicken Rice 🍗🍚 as I remembered I was craving them so badly, and this dish satisfied my craving!

We also shared the Prawn Toast 🦐 with Salted Egg Yolk and they were the bomb! So crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside, and the sweet and saltiness of the salted egg yolk was the perfect flavor for this dish.

Not forgetting the cute drink too! The Limited Nuibi Milk Tea 🥤 with the little puppy ice on top was such a lovely touch.

My friends also said their noodle & rice dishes were yummy and flavorful!

The chefs know what they are doing! Everything we ordered was delicious and well made.

The Hainanese chicken is very authentic, as well as the oil rice which is not an easy feat to get right.

The black garlic roasted pork was not to my taste, but it was done well nonetheless and my partner enjoyed it.

My favourite was the prawn toast - it was so uniqie and yummy with the sauce!

Last but not least, the service was absolutely amazing and the staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. The ambience and decor were also warm and lovely.

so here i am, i made a mistake to booking at the wrong site. so i have to walk in and get a short period of time to dine in 😆
but 45 mins is enough for us, we had Hainanesse chicken, Chilli pork belly and pork mince eggplant.
hainanesse chicken was a little bit different from the original, taste more like a herbal chicken .
pork belly are definitely worth it. eggplant taste the best, specially with chicken rice 😏 you won’t regret.

don’t forget the milk tea, they put a little cute ice Milk Tea bear in the top 😚

They've got some great lunch specials for $18 - quite a filling portion and you can get a drink. PLUS make sure you get the salted egg prawn toast (and the teddy bear milk tea cos it's so cute)
Some of my favourites were the curry laksa - honestly the perfect coconut spice soup for a cold Melbourne's day, and also loved how you can pick your topping and the noodle type (mixed is cool!). The Hainanese Boneless Free Range Chicken has the most aromatic rice!
The sauce on the Signature Garlic Black Roast Pork was a bit too spicy and salty for us.

What an incredible experience.

From the moment we got to Niubi, we were treated with upmost hospitality. It was a very busy Saturday night but the lady at the front counter went out of her way to create a table for us which we were so grateful for.

We ate on the top floor - which had an amazing cityscape view and gorgeous architectural features to match it.

Service was very warm and patient. We ordered a laksa with chicken to share as the portion size is very generous. This was honestly the best Laksa I have ever had. I savoured every ingredient, from the fresh tomato to the orca and juicy chicken.

Dessert was Caramel Creme - I loved the slight bitterness of the caramel sauce as it countered the delicate sweetness of the creme

Overall so impressed by Niubi, prices are modest for the delicious quality food they produce, cannot wait to return.

Had lunch here on Monday. This place is cozy and vintage, i love their style and decorations btw. The main colour is orange, which makes me feel fresh and energetic.
I ordered signature roast black pork and the wagyu beef brisket. They came in set and you can choose with noodles or rice. Everything was perfect, definitely a good place for weekday’s lunch.

Really comfortable seating up top, great for going with a group of friends where it’s nice and spacious.

Short & sweet menu so we ordered most things on it. They do the meats really well - loved the Kung fu roast duck and black roast port 👌🏾also the sides like the prawn toast and fried mantau were really nice & came with tasty sauces.

The Mud crab and vermicelli was the main event. Flavours were delicious but we didn’t get much crab so not sure if it’s worth doing with a big group. Preferred the chilli clams which was amazing. Clams were soaked in the soup which made it delicious.

We ordered several of their chef recommended dishes on the menu and they did not disappoint at all. The salt and pepper chicken was one of the tastiest I've had in a while. It was juicy and crispy, and had some decent spice to it, without leaving an oily taste in your mouth. The crab meat tofu was a hit with the family and the kids, almost felt like a shark's fin type dish, and I mean that as a compliment, really yummy. The Singapore chilli crab was totally worth the price. It was fairly reminiscent of how it tastes in Singapore, and the crab was superbly fresh. The coconut pudding was really appealing, even to a non dessert person.

More importantly, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and left such a great customer experience for my family and I. Totally awesome time for our 22nd wedding anniversary at what we originally felt was a simple, non flashy venue, and we left well fed, and happy. Thank you to the floor staff and the chefs.

This newly opened restaurant serves a mix of Chinese, HongKong, Malaysian, Thai and Singapore cuisines. I especially love their butter prawns, salted egg yolk prawn toast, egg white gravy tofu and two styled Chinese broccoli. They serve really cute iced milk tea with ice made from a bear and the bear ice is actually milk tea! Their seafood baked rice is also really delicious as it’s packed with a generous amount of seafood and the cheese is really mixed inside the rice instead of just baking the cheese on top. I’m yet to return to try their famous buttermilk mud crab which has received a ton of positive reviews. Service is excellent and the ambience is good (maybe not so much during CNY as they were blasting loud cny music songs hehe >.<)

Chinese Malaysian style restaurant serving dishes with new techniques. Most of the dishes are done well, we especially like the roast pork and the salted egg toast. Roast Duck and the jellyfish are just okay with nothing stands out in those two dishes.

Came here for lunch and I’m really pleased with the service and quality of food here. Their $18 lunch deal is also one of the best I’ve ever had. A dish + a drink for such good quality food and service in the city is something to look forward to. My friend and I ordered their seafood laksa and the broth was really tasty. Tasted super fresh and authentic too. We also had their Hainanese chicken rice and the rice was super fragrant. Oh and you have to try their salted egg prawn toasts. They were soooo good! And of course, you gotta top it all off with super cute teddy bear milk tea.

The bear Thai milk tea is awesome! I love it!
