Yugo Berkeley Street

I lived at Yugo Berkeley Street for 2 years! I stayed in a studio apartment which was quite spacious and had a lot of storage. The furniture is modern and state-of-the-art, equipped with a kitchen, bed (with shelves), smart TV, study table, balcony and an en-suite bathroom. There are plenty of study spaces on the ground floor in case you are way too comfortable in your room that you cannot study hahaha! You’ll also find a cinema, gym, laundry facilities and terraces located in this building. The staff are so lovely and accommodating, and are always keen for a little conversation or just a hello.

Overall, I loved living in Yugo because of the comfort, its proximity to the CBD, and the all-inclusive rent (which meant I didn’t need to pay for utilities separately). Yugo also has a range of student activities taking place throughout the year to foster a welcoming and supporting student environment.

A massive shoutout especially to Paul, Ash, and Loosh who were very kind and accommodating to all my questions, requirements and needs!

Yugo accomodation is such a welcoming and positive place! The staff are so lovely and helpful, and the facilities are great - my personal favourite is the movie room. It is also in a fantastic location, I can walk to my uni classes which is so helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone studying in Melbourne.

I stayed at Yugo Infinity Place while being abroad in Melbourne for 5 months, and it was the best student accommodation I’ve ever lived in! The staff were so friendly, Paul, Loosh, Seb, Ash, the maintenance & cleaning guys & everyone else! The building is so clean and modern, the gym is nice and well kept, and there are so many fun activities planned for students. Overall it’s a safe and enjoyable residence and walking distance to both UniMelb & RMIT. If I were to come back as a student I would pick this building to live in over any other one in Melbourne! It also has the most amazing view of the city from the balcony :

We booked our son in here to start his university journey. Safe, friendly, clean, comfortable and convenient for his first year in a new city. Highly recommend this student accommodation

I’m a domestic student most the way through my double degree when I moved here and I originally needed to move to a place I could focus on my studies with out the distraction of housemates moving back and forth to their parents because of lockdown. Glad to say this place has it all, the other student residents are super friendly and my apartment is super comfortable for studying. The special rate for Australia -New Zealand domestic students right now i makes the place the best value residence closest to the city, and it’s so close to my work and internship. The gym and laundry at the basement makes it easy to keep my self fit and tidy during busy exam periods and honestly it couldn’t get much better than this.

Location is very strategic, just a couple minutes walk from UniMelb. There is also a convenience store next to the building and a tram stop just right in front (through the Elizabeth Street entrance). The accommodation has plenty of facilities. They also provide vending machines in the building. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, the shared spaces are also clean and maintained.The rooms aren't that huge (depends which type), but the overall layout is organized thoughtfully. The level 17 open terrace has a dope scenery, especially during sunset. Would definitely recommend.

First place I've been in Melbourne where I've felt at peace with living. Management lets you do your thing and live your life without putting too many restrictions over your head.

On top of that you have access to two building's probably the best terrace and a decent place to stay. ( Really love the shared room and the communal spaces too)

If you are new in Melbourne as a student, then The Student Housing Company, is the place for your starting experience.
Friendly Staff, amazing amenities, they have events which help you interact with other residents and they also have a cinema room.

Good service, but maintenance takes a while. Has gym and in house laundry service

The best over 18 student accommodation anyone could ask for! Friendly staff, strategic location to Unimelb and very clean environment. I highly reccommend this place to students over 18 who is looking for a place stay in Melbourne for their education.

My daughter didn't get a chance to stay here this semester due to covid19 but I must givev5 stars to their staff Emily. She has been taking video of different rooms for me. Answer my questions and has been very patient.

Walking distnace to university, cbd and tram lines.
The rent cost includes all the facilitirs which include wifi, access to gym and kitchen wares.

The YUGO life is unmatched
