Actually had a lovely experience here. Was looking to buy a coat for European winter and had lovely service, wish I could remember the name of the sales assistant. She was from a very cold part of China from memory, unfortunately I found a coat at another store up the road that suited my needs more, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the clothing here and the genuine sales service (I was not particularly well dressed the day I went shopping and hesitated going in but was glad I did). I will definelty go back here in the future for some of the knitwear.

Chinese-focused service. limited items.

No greeting no acknowledgement. The staff were too busy showing each other clothing and holding them up against themselves. I walked past two groups of staff talking to each other and no acknowledgement at all. Very very very disappointing as I found a jacket and dress I really liked.

On 14/11/2019, I walked in to the S'maxmara Store in Collins street, Melbourne, VIC. I had tried a navy coat in size 36 and left. After half an hour later I went back to made a purchased and I have asked if they have any discount so far? A sales consultant her name is Sunny has provided me a VIP 20% OFF discount and told me the coat will be under other's name for purchased.

I was really appreciated for what she offered and happy to make a purchased as I don’t really know what is happening.

After I went back to Adelaide. I found out the coat is size 38 and I normally in size 36 for Marmara. Sunny noticed that cause I purchased a coat before from her in size 36.

I have not touched the coat and the tags are remaining on the coat. It is in perfect original condition. I called back to Collins street for exchange, however Sunny told me I can not do that cause the coat is under other's name but she will ask the manager and manager will contact me.

what makes me extremely upset is, She went back to me after my second phone call and mentioned again I have this discount so there is nothing they can do. They refused to do exchange for me.

I checked on the tags, It didn't state that sales item are not allowed for exchange on the receipt. I know I was given vip discount which i was appreciated but I didn't ask for it, it was offered to me, and if i know that I will not get the right that i was suppose to have, i will not even take the discount. I thought it was a win win situation for both but the manager made it sounds like I took advantage of the store and I don't find it fair for me as a client.
