Good food with Stunning views. My go to food was the lamb lion. Staff was friendly and ambience was good. Venue is spacious, even though with lot of customers didn't feel like we were cramped into our table.

Food was really good. I enjoyed the sliced beef, it was medium rare. There was no other beer that I like, since they don't sell corona, I opted to get Jameson instead.

Came to catch up with some interstate friends that were staying nearby, and we wanted to go somewhere that we knew was delicious and reliable. Bluetrain is both of those things consistently!

Since we were there on a Tuesday we were able to take advantage of the lunch special they had on, and oh my what a deal! Burger, chips, and a soft drink or their house beer for $22 if you're there on a Tue/Wed between 12pm and 3pm is an absolute banging deal.

What a delicious burger it was too, excellent size, crunchy chips, juicy and delicious! If you're in Southbank and are after an epic deal and good feed, Bluetrain is the place to go.

Awesome restaurant and bar experience.

The food is delicious and fresh and there's a wide variety to choose from. My companions loved their steaks and thought they were perfectly cooked and seasoned.

There are a lot of vegetarian and even some vegan options to choose from. The potatoe wedges were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside with a perfectly hot and fresh temperature. The roasted cauliflower was simple and plentiful and a delicious health conscious accompaniment to the other food.

They are extremely generous with their serving sizes. You get quite a lot of food for very reasonable prices and it's all really tasty and fresh and beautifully presented.

The selection of cocktails was good. The Golden Gaytime Tobleeone cocktail was honestly my favourite cocktail that I've ever had. And it's not something I've really seen in many other bars. What a unique and deliciously fun and tasty cocktail!

The seating is very spacious and comfortable and warm and inviting. The decor is simple and modern with a rustic feel to it.

The service is very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. They go above and beyond for an enjoyable experience.

Overall we had a really fun and chillaxed experience with delicious fresh food and yummy cocktails. Will definitely be back!

I attended with 4 friends, we were very impressed by the staffs professionalism the ambiance and the food was amazing..yum. sorry your food to recommend does not include salads which were great. Moo

The service was outstanding and the food and drinks delicious. My only complaint is that the portion sizes were so ENORMOUS i could not finish off my fantastic Chicken and coconut salad! it's a family friendly restaurant, so there were quite a few screaming children, but that is what you risk when dining early.

Came here to seat 5 people and we all had a great time. Food was fast and as we're the drinks. The atmosphere was really warm and cozy. It wasn't too loud so you could comfortably hear everyone at the table

The menu caters to GF and DF options which is great and all tastes so delicious!

Good service - we were about 20 people who ordered different things and we got them all in the right order. The coffee was good too. Each of us got a small biscuit served along with the coffee. Thanks.

Great spot with nice view, good and quick service, the food was very nice, we had the seafood skewers, Arancini, and seafood pasta to share, gluten free pasta was possible for us. The mocktails are delicious too!

A great location, with really scrumptious food. My eighty year old Mum really loved the burger! And the no. 7 pulled pork pizza was a light crust sensation! Definitely worth the visit 😁👍

Mike was amazing! Made our end of year xmas party amazing! catered to all of our requests. Made the night so much fun. We all had a great time! Highly recommend.

While having a limited/reduced menu was at first a concern, I soon found that those thoughts were waylaid when the food arrived.

Starting with a simple Iced Chocolate, then on to a Garlic Pizza and finally to the Double Trouble Burger each was perfectly prepared.

While it may seem trivial to compliment a drink, this one was both delicious and not just chock full of ice cubes like some are; sure there were a few, but the ice cream more than balanced it.

The Garlic Pizza was enjoyed by all, even those who were not accustomed to its taste, or texture.

And the Double Trouble Burger was juicy and well cooked, each bite bringing sadness; only because I knew the burger was that much closer to being finished.

10/10 and the staff were friendly, and more than happy to answer any questions about the menu and courteous at all times.

Fabulous food and service. Quick to receive food and given chips as our pizza was the slightest bit behind our other meals ordered. Highly recommend.

Bluetrain never fails to please. Even when it is fully booked and flat out, the standard of food, service and the atmosphere never falters. Can't wait to go back.

Totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Melbourne. We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary which I let them know on booking. When we arrived we received a very warm welcome along with a Happy Anniversary wish. The food is amazing, great prices and came out quite fast. Beautiful fresh and very tasty meals. Also be great for kids! The service was very much on par with the meal!! We will definitely be back next time we visit Melbourne. Thanks for the lovely experience xo

A group of us had dinner here and let me tell you it was amazing!!! The food was great the service was spectacular they were great with all our kids! When the bill came we had to triple check it because we could believe how cheap it was for 10 adults and 4 children, I will definitely recommend and will be back

Came here on Friday night with a large group for a birthday dinner. We preordered our meals due to the size of the group as requested by the venue. Everything worked out so well. The food was delicious and all the meals came out at the same time. Everyone commented that their meals were delicious. We were also impressed by how prompt and professional the service was.
Thank you to the blue train team for making my husbands birthday so easy. We will be back!

We arrived needing a table for three people, but with only 45 minutes to spare. There were no tables available for 10-15 minutes, but we were seated in the bar where the only difference was that we had to order at the bar rather than receiving full table service. The service at the bar was friendly and helpful and we bought drinks and three burgers. The burgers arrived within 10 minutes and were delicious! Great place and I will definitely be back!
