A wonderful dining experience throughout. From the greeting at the door by the friendly staff to the delivery of dishes and walking us off to the door, the staff are not only professional but friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
The fresh material was just the beginning of the journey for our taste bud. It was a complete treat with the flavoring by the chef where every dish was just spot on and the unique shapes of plates are just a good touch of personality.
Definitely will go again and bring friends and loved one to experience this hidden gem in Melbourne CBD.

Loved the kaiten sushi here. Good quality sushi! You can have them from the conveyor or QR code both. Price are difference depending on the colours of the plates. Some of them are not very authentic but still good taste and I really enjoyed. It was busy when weekday lunch time.

Just wow! Pre show dinner before seeing Wicked at the regent theatre.

First time dining in this newer location after eating at the number two restaurant many times. We walked in unannounced 6pm Wednesday night and were offered a seat at the bar immediately. After a little negotiation the friendly team allowed us a table with a one hour time limit (even though it was just the two of us and they reserve these for parties of three or more)

The food was exceptional, fresh and tasty with lots of specials. The service was friendly and attentive, exactly what you expect from authentic Japanese culture. The team all called out enthusiastic goodbyes as we left leaving us feeling like they really valued our business 😊

Thanks so much to the staff for making our date night so enjoyable. Will definitely be back and recommending this establishment to all our friends!
$140 for two and it felt like great value!
Best mid priced Japanese Sushi in Melbourne BY FAR!

Great fresh fish and fluffy rice
Staff could have been a bit more helpful explaining the menu for new guests..instead of just handing me the QR code..use the app or take plates and let them work the total out.. loved that the plate colour/price key was covendentally taped on the table

Very small and intimate sushi train with separate seating available. We got seated at a table and ordered sushi from the online menu. The sushi ranged from 4 to 8 dollars. My favourite was the salmon belly nigiri. Everything was quite fresh and delicious. And it came out very fast.

No doubt the best sushi train in the CBD - nice enough to accommodate my 2 year old son. Fresh sushi and my partner enjoyed her vegetarian options. Recommend coming earlier at opening to secure a seat as it fills well before 12pm.

Still the best sushi train in CBD area! Sister restaurant of the original one(I think). Different atmosphere between these two but both amazing! This one is quieter and more peaceful.

Food quality was still top notch as good as the original one. Sashimis are very fresh and tasty. Most of the sushi dishes have unique tastes but in a very pleasant way.

Love it.

Without a doubt the best sushi train I've been to! Incredibly fresh seafood, amazing flavours and lots of really great options presented on the train... And actually a very well priced meal we had! Just all around a fabulous experience! The bullet train delivery of 'menu' dishes was a really nice surprise, but we were sitting too close to the kitchen, so didn't get that option. Do yourself a favour though and have a great lunch here... You won't be disappointed! The photo here doesn't do any justice...

I love this sushi train place a lot because it serves a great variety of sushi, hot food, fresh sashimi and desserts. The place itself has a very peaceful ambience.

Some of my favourites are:
- grilled snapper with basil sauce
- aburi scallop nigiri
- salmon cream cheese sushi roll
- grilled miso marinated butter fish
- deep fried yellow tail fish
- grilled salmon tail
- salmon sashimi
- lobster flower

Have been coming to this property, the location before it and it's sister property for years. Great quality sushi in a very lovely setting with the convenience of a train. What's not to like! Can tend to be a line at peak times.

Best sushi I’ve had in Australia so far. Fish was very fresh. My favourite is the squid, crunchy and sweet! Staff were very nice, they always check on you. Seating was very comfortable and very clean.

Preface: I came late at night, it was fairly quiet.
The food here is amazing. Delicate, fresh and refined sushi train . Also, hot food can be ordered too.

Excellent alternative from the Lonsdale Street Sakura Kaiten branch, with more spacious seating at an identical price point. With several office complexes nearby, this conveyor belt sushi restaurant is a top choice for after work gatherings and casual business meetings. The relatively dimmed atmosphere and more separated table seatings offers significantly more privacy than the Lonsdale option, or any other conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Melbourne.

The selection of sushi, especially in the seafood department, outperforms any conveyor sushi options in Melbourne, which is backed by the freshness of the products and their outstanding taste. While you endlessly chow down plates after plates, the attentive staffs take away your plates and bowls (not the coloured plates, obviously) within one minute tops, providing customers with more usable table area, which saves you from frantically shuffling around your plates, making space for the platter that has just arrived.

Overall, this is definitely a top choice for people seeking for an exciting sushi experience with a relatively higher budget in their pocket. Although the drink / alcohol selection leaves something to be desired (comparing to competitors like Tetsujin in Emporium), the variety of seafood and hot foods option and their peculiar taste crown Sakura Kaiten as one of best choices for sushi in Melbourne city, or even Japanese cuisine at large.

I lived in Japan for 6 years and this is GOOD QUALITY SUSHI! The fish quality (the most important part of sushi!) is very good. The chef's choices in terms of sauces, seasoning, and abrui (searing) are also very good. I particularly recommend the seared scallops and seared salmon, and the tuna with wasabi stem
