Jack & Bones Island Bar

The Chicken Arnold Schwarzelburger, Big Jac beef burger, and Cheesy Tots. Think it was a brioche bun, was big, and soft. Nice and crispy chicken, the slaw was a bit dry, could have had more sauce. Big Jac patty had lots of flavour, and seasoning. Cheesy Tots was a really big serving, enough to share.
Service was simple, have to place the order at the bar. Food didn't come out altogether, which was fine.
Atmosphere was enjoyable inside sitting on the couches, was like sitting outside at a night market with all the bright lights. Complimentary board games available on the tables to play. Live DJ playing music softly.

What a great little hidden bar. Wouldn't have visited if not for an eatclub offer, but I'm glad I did. The burgers were okay, not mind blowing but perfectly acceptable, but the decor is excellent, good music, nice staff, tasty beer, pretty reasonable prices. I'll have to come back

A hidden gem in the city where you can go and just vibe underneath Melbourne. The entrance is a quaint little door on Flinders Lane that goes down and opens up into a little underground island paradise. Bartenders are great and there's live music to keep the atmosphere going.

We stumbled across this hidden cocktail bar and wow. The drinks and pizza was amazing. Staff was super friendly and the intimate setting was perfect for the wife and I to relax after we saw a stage show. Definitely will be back and I 100% recommend this bar to anyone!!

Stopped in before the theatre for a drink and a quick bite to eat. Chicken tacos were amazing and I would definitely recommend giving them a go!! They have a decent happy hour, friendly staff and a great vibe. Worth checking out!!!

Fantastic place, quiet, relaxed, laid back island style bar. Awesome artwork and island theme. Great staff and the best Singapore Sling I've tasted outside of Singapore. The Maihana cocktail is a must, absolutely fantastic!

A casual dive bar with great cocktails! Not too busy or loud even on a weekend. The staff were extra lovely, easy and fast service. Deep couches and a great tacky theme give it a house party vibe. You can even book a spot in advance online.

We first popped in at around 8pm on a Saturday night and it was packed, so we came back when it was quieter for our last stop of cocktail bar hopping - and it was one of my favourite spots of the night! Lights everywhere, comfy couches and coffee tables for chill chats. Bartenders were super friendly and the jug of Long Island iced tea was great!

Good food, chill vibes, great drinks. The quality of the service provided by Dion in particular made the night exceptionally memorable. His ability to cater to our needs and his skill behind the bar won’t soon be forgotten! Cheers mate!

The bar staff are awesome! Very discreet spot with cheap, yummy drinks made by passionate staff. Gotta try their spicy marg!!!

Is a good place to relax, the music is good and you can talk with your friends because the volume is soft.

I like this relatively unknown basement gem of a bar. Great space, great staff, great food and cocktails. It's simple and no frills but solid. I am giving 5 stars because tonight, a guy joined my group uninvited and made the women in our group really uncomfortable with his comments. I asked a bartender to help us out and he was able to get this guy to leave us alone. Thank you to our hero bartender (I didn't get his name but he was wearing a bucket hat) for saving us and ensuring that we enjoyed our time there. Will totally be back again and again.

Great chill place for drinks and the chook Barbie pizza is incredible. Slight negative was the lack of games that used to be another big draw point for this location.

Hands down the best cocktails in the city! Highly recommend the margarita. Cool vibe inside, great music and the snacks. Cocktail menu is always changing which makes it fun to go back!
