Service as we progress in this day in age it’s quite rare to see a service that is really heart felt thank you so much for all the staff that looked after me when I ate there they have such friendly staff I would recommend to go with friends and family in this place for small gathering and a very chill and safe place to be. again thank you so much for the hospitality…

Another thing their garlic bread is something that you need to get before eating anything 😉 you are all guys welcome if your reading this and wanted to see a good Italian 🇮🇹 place to eat this is the place to be.

Top notch food, and I mean top notch not just your normal pub grub this is some real home style cooking which I loved. Big portions, great happy hour, ice cold Guiness and lovely atmosphere, what more could you want!

What a hidden gem ! My goodness - the best homemade Italian food ! Bloody beautiful. We headed to the Bar after eating and settled in for the arvo ! So cozy ! Great cocktails. Best of all - the owners - what a gorgeous couple ! Thank you for an unexpected fantastic afternoon 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Such a great experience (I’m writing this as a stuffed satisfied customer).
The pub is very homey, and has an old school comfort vibe.
I understand it’s a family run business, with majority of the menu being Italian.
The portion sizes are enormous, which I loved.
Meals are definitely value for money.
We got the polenta chips, seafood pasta and the baked barramundi (which was on special).
The seafood pasta was amazing.
When I come back again (which I will), I will struggle to order something other than the seafood pasta (it was that good).

Love the food here. Great value for money. Highly recommend the muscles & chicken Parma. Service staff are lovely.

That’s an amazing place. I can highly recommend this place for fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We had a little work meeting with meals afterwards. We shared some bruschetta and arancini balls. Then we each enjoyed a great main course. Service was fantastic and the food was made quick. I can highly recommend this place. I’ll be back. :)

I had veal parmiggana - excellent.
Some lovely italian specials - stuffed calamari among them - apparently fantastic according to my friends. Everyone with us were happy with their meals.

A classic inner city pub with great food, plenty of staff, nice atmosphere whether it is summer or winter. We moved into our new offices up the road in Feb and have enjoyed having the Royal Standard so close by.

Long time pub that has been through a few owners, as it stands in 2023 the food is great with a wide selection of items. Staff are good. Lots of outdoor seating on a quiet street.

In Melbourne for work and stumbled into this lovely little pub. Had the rib eye two nights in a row and it was absolutely perfect. Asked for medium rare and got it bang on each night. The owner Lucy is a lovely Italian Australian and her son is the head chef. Great staff and excellent pub food. Will definitely be back

This is a good inner suburban pub with a great range of beers and plenty of food choices. The menu is mostly Italian with pasta and pizza featuring. The service is excellent and the portions huge. Great pub fare. Decor is bright and clean . I highly recommend this place.

Really nice spot for a pub feed and a drink. Friendly staff and family owned pub for 18+ years. The food is good quality, especially for a pub feed. Highly recommend the lasagna and the seafood pasta, top quality.
They have a restaurant area and a sports bar area so you can pick the space that suits you best.
I come here pretty much every week and am never disappointed. Love it!
