Another cocktail bar in Melbourne that you have to try! We ordered all the cocktails on the menu and they were amazing! My favorite is Major Tom. They have a very creative menu. We love this bar and will definitely come back again. Keep up the good work, guys!

Really nice establishment! Cute little bar with a really cozy ambiance. I went on a Thursday so it was quiet and chill, perfect for calm date night. The cocktails were excellent. Crafty selection with local ingredients 👌🏻 Expensive but understandable and worth it. Jack our bartender was super chill and brought some nice friendly vibe. Strongly recommend

Absolutely beautifully styled bar with the most amazing staff who want to make sure you are getting the cocktail that is perfect for you. Sam made his new soup inspired cocktail for me,which went down an absolute treat and just had a wave of flavours each sip. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Kelly and Jack have been so lovely to me and my friends.

Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of the city, with artisan cocktail artists slinging up some of the tastiest drinks you could ask for. Shout-out to Sam for taking the time to understand the flavours I'm interested in, and making some amazing suggestions (and cocktails, obviously) along the way! If you're in doubt, order a Major Tom and thank me later.

Had a very enjoyable time sipping unique cocktails at the gorgeous bar counter. Staff are friendly, attentive and good banter 🧞‍♂ They do classic cocktails on request. The only regret is not staying longer.

Suggest booking the standard seating rather than the bar if you are staying for a longer time for the back support 👍

Dark and moody, with lovely service. The cocktail menu is a delight to explore (we had 2 each, and loved all of them), and contains no-alcohol options. Up a few flights of stairs, not sure if it's accessible.

Like some of the best places in Melbourne stairs and slightly hidden entrances are involved, but the contrast to what you discover is a beautiful tease for what’s to come.

The drinks are ever changing this was my third visit and I’ve never seen the same menu. I won’t mention what I drank because it’ll have changed soon enough, all I can say is try things you wouldn’t normally, ask questions and embrace it.

The bar is beautiful and there’s plenty to look at the layout, ambiance and music all encouraging you to immerse yourself in the place.

The stand out factor are the staff and the service, it cannot be faulted from the welcome to the recommendations of other places as you leave. Sam whom we had the pleasure of meeting this time is a true professional bartender offering humour, passion and absolute hospitality! 5/5 on Sam’s merit alone.

Trust the recommendations you’ve been given it’s worth it, every time! I’ll be back every chance I get a pure guilty guilt free pleasure.

Visited for a quick drink while waiting for our kbbq reservation across the road. Very unique selection of drinks available.

We were all happy with our choices, very delicious creations. Bartender was excellent, explained what ingredients went into making each drink. Worth a visit!

B.A.B—My cocktail of the year! The richness of the flavors exceeded my expectations. Mixed the brandy and apple aromas just right. The menu design is very bold and interesting. The bartender was humorous and knowledgeable, patiently explaining to us the ingredients of the cocktail. We almost ordered all cocktails on the menu. Can't wait for next time visiting!

Loved this bar. Cocktails are Devine!!! I had a “Major Tom” absolutely loved it!!!! My partner had a B.A.B which he throughly enjoyed also. Sam was great. Super friendly. Helpful and very knowledgeable. Great customer service. Thank you Sam.

Finally, a cocktail worth the price! The loveliest service I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing at a cocktail bar. Our waiters remembered our names, explained the science of how our cocktails were made and talked us through it's sustainable practices. If you're in Melbourne this is a place you won't want to miss, tucked carefully away behind a restaurant, look carefully to find it!

This is my first time visiting Melbourne ever and some of my friends recommended this place. We had Jack serving us for the night and he was amazing!! He was so kind and helped us out with our drinks and seating. He even brought us sparkling and still water in these beautiful pink jugs. Will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to my friends.

Very cool selection of cocktails. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable and also had some great recommendations for some other bars with similar vibes for us to check out on our holiday.

If you're looking for a truly unique and unforgettable experience, Bouvardia Cocktail Bar is definitely a must-visit and will definitely be making it one of my regular haunts from now on.

Let’s get it out of the way first that cocktails are expensive - I believe they start at $27 a piece. But if you’re after value for money, they deliver.

Every drink is interesting, well presented and strong which I’m unashamed to say is a factor when spending this much on a drink. They even list the ABV of each one. The ‘not all cucumbers wear capes’ is a semi savoury, briny highlight but the ‘major tom’ is the real standout.

The space itself is small and intimate with windows over Bourke street and multimedia art around the space. Ps be prepared to take a very long flight of stairs to the top.

All the cocktails here are amazing but the Major Tom is one of the best things I've had in Melbourne. Very pretty too. Cosy elegant ambiance. Hidden gem in the city.
