WRAP on Southbank

WRAP was a great place to stay while I was in Melbourne for the Australian Open. It is within a 20 minute beautiful walk to the tennis facility and very close to the river and lots of eating options along the water. There is a beautiful park within walking distance too. Felt very safe walking alone back to the hotel even after midnight from the tennis facility. There were still plenty of people out so you didn't feel you were in any danger. The hotel is very nice. Check in was easy and they changed my room so I could check in early. The room is spacious and having a washer and dryer (one unit) was nice when traveling for a while. The only down side was the air conditioner is in the family room so it is hard to cool down the bedroom real well but I still slept comfortably. The washer and dryer are one unit so it just changes from washing to drying your clothes so be careful there if you don't want some things to dry. Overall I would recommend and would stay there again.

What an amazing hotel! Very well priced. The amenities that are with the hotel (pool, restaurant, gym, sauna, bar, parking) are clean, modern and reasonable, definitely competing with the other major hotels in the area. The rooms are large, spacious, clean, modern, and elegant. The staff were friendly and went to great extents to ensure comfort. The only down side was that it was a little more far out than expected (10-15 walk to Flinders Steet Station), but when the weather is good, the walk is always pleasurable.

Just don't get too excited about the Foxtel channels on offer, very limited package.

ERNESTINA was my first point of contact when I called to asked questions prior to checking in the day before. About parking and breakfast and you name it, I asked it. She was polite and friendly and very knowledgeable and so helpful! What a superstar. When checking in, we dealt with MILAN, also a superstar, she is so friendly yet professional, she offered us late checkout and took our breakfast order when the restaurant didn't answer our calls. She called our room to make sure we are happy. So customer service is the main reason for my 5 stars. The rooms on the other hand... eh. They are clean and have washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen with everything in it. 2 head stove, oven, iron, hairdryer, foxtel, free internet, aircon, seperate bedroom and living space couch...a veryyyyyy tiny balcony...we supposedly got a room with a view...it was of several other peoples apparetments within close proximity and so we couldnt keep our blinds open because there was no second blind to block out peeping toms and let light in. The BED, although comfy...was as big as the room 😄 literally, up against both walls. It was bizzare. We had to access the bed from seperate doors. So weird! The bathroom is sooo tiny! The soap body wash and shampoo and conditioner are real cheap, dont use it. No toothbrushes, no toothpaste or any other sanitary products. NO MIRRORS. Had to check our outfits in the Oven!!! We were there for my husbands 40th, we got ready at the hotel and walked to our venue...if I knew how tiny the bathroom was and the lack of mirrors, then I would have gotten ready at home. It was very difficult. Still, we had a pleasant stay and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Thankyou.

I highly recommend this place. The room is spacious and has a nice aura. The location is very convenient and close to everything. The rooms are affordable and have great value. The staff are so nice and friendly, and they assisted us with everything. We would definitely go back to this place.

My wife and I just stayed here on the weekend. Highly recommend WRAP. Staff are super accommodating and made us very welcome. Rooms are great and very comfortable. Location is perfect. Easy walk to the city just over the Yarra river. We will definitely be back.

Second time we’ve stayed here and loved it just as much as the first time. We got upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom 2 bath deluxe room. The bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean, beautiful view and the guys at the front desk were lovely and always very helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning :)

Had an amazing stay, it was my sisters birthday and they upgraded us and made her feel so special! Nice clean rooms with city view. Rooms were quiet. Location was so good too! 100% will stay again!

Amazing service by the team at reception! Communication was great! Celebrated our anniversary there and was upgraded to a beautiful room and the view was to die for! Would love to go back and stay again! And would highly recommend a stay there to anyone

First time here and booked through Expedia.
As a family of four with two teenagers, we went with the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom option and asked if we could change one of them to 2 single beds instead of the one Queen. Wasn't holding on my breath on that one.
But what can I say?
This place exceeded our expectations and represented great value for money.
From the moment we checked in and looked after by the friendly Monica at reception I knew this place would be different.
A new, trendy, luxury hotel vibe when you walk in, followed up by a functional, clean and spacious apartment-style room....with two single beds in one of the rooms & onsite undercover parking (at a reasonable daily rate)!!
Everything promised in the room description was there and working perfectly. Lovely views from the balcony and main bedroom, particularly of the Melbourne city lights.
Walking distance to casino/shops/cafes.
Our week went too quickly but we'll definitely return and I'll be recommending this accommodation to work colleagues as a result.

Pros: Friendly staff & great facilities
Cons: Staff required to give elevator access to carpark each time.

Had a wonderful stay here. Room was clean, bed so comfortable and great view from the 13th floor. Had a cocktail in the bar before heading out. Also had a delicious breakfast the next day. Under a ten minute walk to Crown, Southbank promenade. Great price too. Highly recommend

We had a great stay here with the kids.
The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and staff were great. We didn't hear any noise from other residents or guests and we had a fabulous view from the 39th floor.
The restaurant was a bit hit and miss but there was plenty of other options close by so that didn't bother us.

Great place to stay. 2 minute walk to Southgate restaurants. We arrived early, got free early check-in and free upgrade to deluxe 1 bdrm apartment on the top (40th) floor. Clean room, good views. Room service breakfast. Quite pricey (expected) but huge meal and amazing food!! Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Pretty good location. 10 minutes walking from the city. There's a swimming pool, sauna and gym for the guests.
The rooms are very clean and have a nice city view.

Great place in Southbank to stay with wonderful views of the city! It's not in the centre of where all the pubs etc are (just on the main road). The service and rooms are fantastic! It's in a very nice and safe area and I highly recommend staying here!

A very nice place to stay. The booking price included breakfast. Good value for money, the service and the view were excellent.

Amazing hotel. I booked a studio for my boyfriends birthday and they gave us a free upgrade to a massive 2 bedroom suite with an amazing view. We both felt very spoiled. Great tv access as well :)

We stayed in a (1 bed room city view appartment )
Our room was very spacious and clean , unfortunately the the tv wouldn’t change channels unless you opened the tv cabinet.
I actually thought the 4 lifts ran considerably fast.
The staff were very friendly , helpful and polite
We enjoyed eating our breakfast down in the lobby area 👌

The location of this hotel is amazing!

And very easy parking 👌
If you plan on using your car a-lot I could see there been a problem getting buzzed to the parking area , but that didn’t faze us

We have already booked another holiday there in December !
