Saigon One

Both times I've been here for dinner, I've been served delicious Vietnamese food. The prices are cheaper on the in-store menu compared to what is shown on the Google maps menu. Bring cash - the card surcharge is 2% here. Highly recommend the broken rice with fried pork chop, egg and shredded pork. The salt and pepper chicken ribs were tasty but had an unusual batter. Having a tissue box on each table is excellent.

Super fast and responsive service! Pho was top quality and the broth was super soothing, clear and flavourful.

Spring rolls were crunchy and hit the spot.
Will definitely be back!

Tasty food. The best Vietnamese restaurant in Clayton in my opinion! Ordered pho and Vietnamese chicken coleslaw on a hot day.

Love this hidden Vietnamese restaurant!

This is the first time for me to have lunch here and I was surprised by the amazing food they offered. My partner and I ordered beef pho and pork broken rice, both of them tasted wonderful. The pork was tender and juicy and I love the variety of veggies they provided on my plate.

One more thing is that the sauce area was absolutely clean and tidy, and I enjoyed the whole experience very much.

Will definitely come back!

Large serving sizes and fresh flavours!

We had the com tam and a vermicelli bowl. They were able to work around our dining party's allergies by serving the egg in a separate dish which was much appreciated.

My pick was the vermicelli bowl - it had a generous amount of vegetables as well as umami and sweetness from the caramelised meat. There was also a lot of textural contrast.

Good food and good service.

Forgive me as this account is turning into a circa 2010 "look at my lunch" account. Another solidly quality place, I'm still working through their menu, so far so perfect.

I’ve come here more times than I can count. The food is always delicious, and not many other Vietnamese places compare with the consistency of Saigon One. My go to orders are the salt and pepper squid, plus the grilled pork vermicelli bowl with spring rolls. The coating on the squid, along with the grilled onions combine to make a flavour explosion in your mouth. And the vermicelli bowl is also a winner in the flavour department. Prices very reasonable. Defs worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Pho chicken soup, hmmm my mouth is watering already. it was so nice, I had the medium size Pho chicken soup and as that was big enough after seeing what size plates others were getting.
definitely worth the money all round, with great friendly service and staff always smiling, what a friendly little place to go for a meal.
I recommend anyone from the area or even out side the area eating at the Saigon One

Eaten here and gotten takeaway several times. Food has consistently been fresh, yummy and reasonably priced.
Staff are very friendly. I always feel welcomed, and the service is prompt.

Nice place! I usually eat pho at Hung Vuong close by, but this place had a broth that was definitely on par with a good depth of flavour- great toppings and satay too.

This place also has a significantly more expansive menu (for people who don't just want pho), and better service (friendly and attentive staff, pretty short waiting time for food, and accepts credit cards (2% surcharge))

Dined in for lunch. About 1/2 to 2/3 full. Service was quick, as was the food. The portions, taste and freshness of the food was first class.
Attended the restaurant with my wife, mother-in-law and my handicapped brother-in-law.
Entery can be from the front or rear entrances, however if wheelchair access is required, front entrance is the entry point.
Highly recommend the grilled chicken and spring roll vermicelli (bun).
