Andersons Mill Camping

Awesome campground an hour out of Melbourne. Plenty of room and lots of campsites. Long drop toilets and fire pits and heaps of Mountain Ash firewood. Old mill and old horse stables, lots of walks and trails and motorcycle tracks. Gets very busy on weekends.
The King Parrots are incredibly friendly. You can have them sit on you and hand feed them. We were here for a week and had six of them joining us by the end. The bright red is the male and green are the females. So nice watching them boss each other around over the food.

Nice spot. Can be a little uneaven, but nothing that a maxtrack can't solve.
2x toilets and very clean.
Very quiet.
Good spots for fires and there's a few picnic tables.
There is space for a few big vans

Great spot to free camp. Couple of toilets and a few spots for solar setups. Small creek is only big enough to collect water for the shower, cleaning. Ok to drink after boiling. Enjoy. I had a had weekend there this week.

Such a great camp site, plenty of places to set yourself up and plenty of fire wood.

Great spot, I think it could get very popular being within 1 1/2hr from Melbourne.

Such a quiet place full of beautiful birds

Fantastic camping grounds but get there early as it fills quickly on weekends.

Plenty of firewood to get a fire started and very picturesque location with very friendly king parrots.

Easy to access can get there in a normal car, not too difficult terrain and close to lake mountain.

Overall definitely recommend going here.

Quite a large area with plenty of sites. Drop toilets. In amongst the mountain ash and tree ferns. Very quiet

Great spot and not so busy this time of year (just after school holidays). Two built fire pits with trays. A little muddy after a bit of rain at the site but still well accessible by 2WD. A reasonable amount of room for a couple fair size groups.

One of our favourites, such a great campsite and very well maintained.

Great camp ground only 5 kms out of Marysville. Water. Toilets. Fantastic horse yards. Thanks to all the volunteers that built them. Can get busy in the peak periods so u might need a back up plan.

A great free little campsite.

Nice little place to visit. There is a fork in the Rd as you get close from coming off the main road. Just need to turn left and follow the Rd until you get there which is like approx 5 mins.

Fantastic spot fauna aplenty.
