Shiva Indian Cuisine

We had Shiva for dinner last night and ate in, the food was very authentic, fresh and tasty!! The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Today was my first visit and Sachin ( the owner ) suggested me to try their speciality - Chole Bhature. He claimed that they were the best in Melbourne and he was absolutely right!

Chole were full of flavour and Bhature were soft. It was served with pickle and onions. Chilled Mango Lassi along with it was an absolute delight.

Overall a very satisfying experience. Great lunch along with good conversations with Sachin.

Highly recommended and I will definitely be visiting it again.

Shiva is an authentic, high quality restaurant. It serves consistently tasty food, has some awesome cricket memorabilia on the walls, and has friendly staff. I work in the area and make sure to treat myself to their paneer curry (or similar) at least once every couple weeks. FYI, they also do lunch specials.

We have been using the catering wing of shiva indian cuisine as well as take out from the restaurant from 2017 for any big group or special occasions we have had. From the quality, quantity and service delivery, it has been fantastic experience so far. Sachin is amazing to work with and can even recommend correct menus for any occassion depending on your guest mix or if you are new to ordering Indian cuisine. The food quality keeps getting better with every order

Delicious food and Sachin is a lovely man. Whenever I'm South-side around lunch time I try and grab a curry - sometimes I drive 30 mins just to visit. We've also had Sachin and his team cater a community event for us and the reports from all the attendees about the food were fantastic. Highly recommended

Food was fresh ans delicious, and it was rapidly served. I tried a mango chicken and it was really tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service was excellent.

The butter chicken bought back a warm feeling I haven't felt in years. If this was the taste at the Melbourne show, I can't wait to come down there next. Bless

What a great caterer. Sachin and his team are such a helpful bunch. They have personalised and catered to all our requests. They have done many parties for us in the past but the most recent one was for my husbands 40th Birthday. Thank you the amazing food, amazing service and the amazing presentation. Everything was perfect- from taste to the quality to the presentation. Every minute detail was taken care of. We are really thankful for your great service.

Awesome food. Perfect. Great service. Extremely clean, even the working area. All the food tastes different, unlike other places where all the food tastes same. the food is awesome, I am a Pakistani and I know INDIAN food very well. Rarely like any INDIAN food in Melbourne, but this is different.
