The Vic Bar

This was a great place to hang out! The cocktail options are great, and they also offer a decent tab beer selection. We enjoyed our drinks while sitting on the benches overlooking Victoria Street, with music in the background.

They have a great setup where the front section has big windows which open fully and it's all bright breezy and great for people watching, and then through a very nice glass door/wall the back is dark and has sexy red lighting and cool booths etc. Good selection of beers and friendly staff too. Happy hour cocktails and 8 dollar beers are a win.

Nice bar with some street seating Close to tram and trains. Friendly atmosphere with multiple areas.

Nice chill place for a drinks. Would be nice if the front room with the windows was smoke free area however

What a find whilst wandering the streets inner suburbs of Melbourne. Good bers, great staff and great fit out.
Be sure you stop for one or 5 here.

I loves this place, really nice cocktails, bartenders are friendly and the music was fantastic. If you want a different Friday, definitely you have to go there.

Comfy seating out back where you can enjoy some drinks and a live DJ after work. Tasty happy hour cocktail selection. Staff very hospitable and friendly. Check out the MF Zombie if you want your socks knocked off.

I found the love of my life at this bar. I was in a blur of conversation with other like minded individuals, when she came to me, perfectly sculpted in a 30ml glass. Oh how perfect she was.

She called to me, that sweet seductress. She called me to the bar and of course, I followed. She introduced herself as “Choc Drop”, but I only knew her as “Mi Amor”.

As she made her way to my lips, I knew it was fate. We were kindred spirits, made to be together. I drowned in her, and she filled me graciously.

I left in disarray. I didn’t know how to continue on. How does one go through the day, not knowing if their love will be there the next day?

I use this review to call upon the powers that be. If the choc drop is not made available to the public, I fear that I may be forced to stay within the walls of The Vic Bar forever. I can’t live without her.

Had the best night at Vic Bar on Friday. Great tunes, amazing drinks and top vibes were enjoyed by all. Highly recommend the Dark & Stormy cocktail - absolute gold class thirst quencher right there. Also the staff (special mention of Rory) were super friendly and looked after the guests extremely well. Thanks for a great night 😎

We had a 30th/suprise commitment party at The Vic Bar and it actually is the best place in town! These are the 5 reasons why you should hold your next event here:
1. Sickk venue - self explanatory
2. The staff - All staff are so genuinely lovely and friendly, it legit made the night, not only did we think this but everyone afterwards was like what the hell, staff were the best!
3. The choc drop vodka shots - it's not only a party in your mouth, it'll get the party started aaaand it's easily the most delicious shot you'll ever have
4. Flexibility - Jemma, Adham and team made everything easy as, we had a food truck, they made it work, my grandma was after a cup of tea, they went down to the shops to get teabags, we ran out of serviettes at cake time, they went down to the shops again, amazing
5. Everyone who attends your event will talk about how good The Vic Bar is, and for weeks to come - actually!

Extra tid bits if you're looking to have an event at The Vic Bar:
- We had about 100 people which meant The Vic Bar said have the whole place to yourselves, for no hire fee -where else do you get that?
- they stayed open later than we expected because they're just so bloody kind
- everything was just unreal

The bar staff are absolutely AMAZING! Chocolate vodka is Melbourne's best kept secret.

These guys have got an amazing industial type feel to the place, with exposed brick walls and amazing decor
The bar has a wide variety of drinks and there is enough seating for big groups groups as well as small
When i arived there was a range of live musicians playing from rap and soul to more chilled acoustic vibes
Solid entertainment and drinks to kick off a good night out

The staff here are always so nice!!? How did the manager find such lovely people!? And the happy hour is top tier, love the Vic Bar 💕

I visit from Sydney time to time and I cannot rave more about this place! Did somenne say 8th wonder of the world?? Craig, Sunny and Noah provide a world class service!
