If you live near by and have not tried this place - you are missing out. Steve and Robyn are the most amazing hosts , making every customer feel they are special. Steve’s knowledge of wines is exceptional . Great to be introduced to overseas wineries and wines you might otherwise not try. It started out as my local wine shop with a great range of Tempranillo and Nero d’avola, then it evolved into the best place to sit in the sun during golden hour, sipping on inventive euro wines and ever rotating tapas. They do free tastings, bring your pooch events and other interesting nights. I love p&v x

The seafood linguine and poached pear was excellent in flavour and produce. Highly recommended on a Thursday night. Wine matching outstanding Local gem

Always great whenever we visit. You can just pop in to pick up a great wine at a reasonable price, or for some yummy bites.

This is my local wine shop and I absolutely love it! Awesome selection of wine that you can’t find anywhere else. Plus great beer and snacks. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.
I also love stopping in for a glass of wine and a snack in the cute little wine bar on the side.

Great little winebar perfect if your local and can walk. Nice wine offerings, or you can choose any bottle in the shop. Nice selection of nibbles

Visited as we were passing by with the family, love how a standard drive thru bottle-o has been transformed into a casual but quaint wine 'room'. The lovely lady who looked after us was amazing and so so knowledgeable with questions we had about their wines plus great little random conversations were had when our table was attended to.
I had the pet nat which went well with our little selection of munchies we ordered (also so so yummy)
They were also very thoughtfully catering to my husband who is avoiding gluten.

Love it here! The staff are friendly and always have excellent recommendations within your price range and to match with dinner. Every time I've walked out with a delicious and good value wine. The wine bar is also fabulous - a great place to try some new wines and eat some tasty treats. Can't wait for lockdown to end and we're able to head back in. Great work team - I'll be back for more wine recommendations soon!

Fantastic selection of wine, beer and spirits, especially gin! Super friendly staff and always having interesting events. The only downside is I live so far away that I don't get to come here often!

This is an excellent wine shop and now a charming wine bar. Staff are friendly and provide knowledgeable service with an amazing selection of wines and spirits on offer. I love the events they offer like wine tastings and wine appreciation courses. Best of all you can bring your well behaved dog into the shop on lead and in the wine bar before 6pm.

If you're looking to spend a romantic night or reminisce with freinds, this place has it all. Portions are slightly small for what you pay but that doesn't matter, the flavours are amazing. Recommend the goats cheese and honey dip with crackers.

One of the best wine stores in Melbourne. I have never got a bad bottle from this place. Really chilled out wine bar too, good for catching up with friends. Staff very helpful, and generally a good vibe. Keep up the good work Primrose team.

We managed to fluke a visit in-between lockdowns and never has it felt so indulgent! The service was incredible- friendly, supportive and considerate. We had a wonderful time with delicious food, wine and baby friendly hangs. It’s so great to have somewhere like this in the heart of Essendon ❤

Well I came here for lunch on Sunday afternoon enjoyed a share platter with my wife and a couple of glasses of wine it was good
