Australia Post - Mckinnon LPO

Reading all the previous reviews, maybe the staff have changed? I recently moved into the area and had to pick up at least four parcels from the post office, and the lady behind the counter has always been nice and accomodating. Even when I took some time to search for my ID, she still patiently waited. When I had an inquiry about why the parcels were not delivered to the door, she patiently explained and looked like she cared.

Same with the pharmacy, they are great and friendly!

The older lady Clare, who works here is so knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. She knows everyone who goes in by name! If only other Aust Post staff at other Post Offices knew as much as her, her Aust Post product knowledge is fantastic. I try and only go here specifically for Clare, of course she is busy never rude! Plus imagine all the silly questions she gets asked by customers! Great customer service! Highly recommend

Totally disagree. I take at least 20-30 packages there a week and they are incredibly helpful and really great with me (especially Clare). I see them going above and beyond to assist people all the time who don't know which bag to use, how best to ship etc.etc. Please also look at the conditions. It is a tiny, cramped space overwhelmed with packages, packing materials and so on yet they get it all done. They are literally flat out, all the time.

Picked up multiple packages here. No troubles. Variety of parcels/boxes for sending.

Small shop, but not busy. Staff helpful.

Clare makes this place... Terrific service.

All is very good about this pharmacy but the pharmacist on a Friday is as useless as a flyscreen door on a submarine, takes over 25 minutes (on a good day) to get my medication sorted, arrogant and rude and there’s nothing to be arrogant about, Anthony :)

Lynn and the other really nice lady that works on another day are lovely, but my god Anthony the pharmacist who works on a Friday is on another planet half the time.

It just happened today, on Saturday. The same lady who was helpful and knowledgeable usually for some reason she was being unpleasant in today's service. I notice it is caused by the customer who is persistent in what he wanted the lady to check his parcel. I could understand because its his passport that he was waiting on. I wish she could be more professional by being more patient in serving customers.

If you do online postal payments, you will pay more here. Supposed to include packaging, as paid for...

Not so surprised to see so many bad reviews about customer service. Guess, Pam needs more training on how to talk to customers - the worst experience. Hope these staffs gets trained properly or replace them with ppl who is waiting to do this job wholeheartedly.

I think this one particular person who works here needs mental help. It does not bother me about her rudeness toward me and everybody that's look non-Caucasian but I think it harms the community. Too toxic to place my foot in there for any activities. Feel sorry for other workers there have to try their best to cover up her unacceptable behaviour.

This is the absolute worst Post Office I have ever been to. I absolute hate it when my packages get taken here and dread collecting them. The older lady is constantly rude and grumpy and today the Indian lady called PAM was an especially rude and horrible to my mum who I had sent to collect a package for me with all of the correct QR codes I had arranged online. In this day and age there is absolutely no need to be a horrible cow and ruin everyone's day. Avoid at all costs. I wish there was a way you could instruct Australia Post to never take your packages to a particular Post Office.

Post office staff are always rude, and cold. I’ve been in multiple times when I’ve had a package at the store and been told I need to go home because it’s not there because staff can’t be bothered properly searching, up until I refuse to leave then they search for the package. The opposite is to be said for pharmacy staff who are nothing short of amazing. Always happy to help and great at give helpful tips wish they could teach some manners and customer service to post office staff
