I've been looking for a new GP for a while and I am so happy I picked this one. My experience was great from the first minute, the lady at the reception was lovely. Dr Dorothy is amazing, listens carefully, empathetic, and it really feels like they are trying to help and you are no just another patient. Very happy to find this level of professionalism and service close to my home.

Our family has attended South Yarra medical for many years and have always been very happy with the quality of care. It helps the doctors are all fantastic so very easy to get an appointment.

I have been visiting the clinic for many years now & can highly recommend it.
The entire team is friendly, compassionate & professional.
Dr Tessa King has been my GP for several years & I cannot speak highly enough of her. She has provided me with exceptional care, and I would not hesitate to refer her to friends and family.

I have seen Dr Tessa & Dr Andrea here, they are both wonderful. understanding, caring and you feel there is no rush. I felt seen and heard by both and the support was second to none. Happy to have found a GP who understands. highly recommend

After bouncing around multiple GPs/Clinics and being never taken seriously regarding my health, I was lucky enough to find Dr Ramyaa who is the best doctor I have ever been to. She always takes me seriously, eases my concerns, and is very easy to open up to.

I wish I could give this GP 7 stars. I saw the GP here less than 2 weeks post partum after having a c section. From the moment I walked into this clinic I felt like I was surrounded by my friends who will give me love and support.

Nadaba was on reception and talked to me like a human being and not like "just another patient they need to check in." You are amazing Nadaba 👏

I saw Dr. Dorothy Yue which they refer to as Dr. Dorothy. (No Rush Hour jokes could be capitalised on). #RespectDrDorothy.
Speaking to Dr. Dorothy was like talking to my twin sister who lived a life just like mine and completely understood how I feel. ❤

Just been here to receive a shot for something. Great team from receptionist to doctors to nurses. The nurse that gave me my shot today was an absolute pleasure and damn the girl knows how to give a needle. Like it never happened. 5 stars for these guys. Happy i found them.

My wife became ill with a glandular infection on our holiday to Melbourne from Townsville. From the friendly reception team to thorough and friendly, Dr Dorothy Yue, we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Great experience here - needed to see a Doctor quite urgently on the day after a public holiday. The lovely receptionist (sorry, did not get your name) organised the whole thing efficiently and seamlessly, grasped the seriousness of the situation and arranged an appointment with Dr Benjamin Webb, who was just spot on with management of my concerns - arranged blood tests, ECG, chest X-ray - and called me a few hours later with results advising to visit ED asap. Now in Cabrini being treated for pulmonary embolus. Can not thank him enough for his timely intervention.

Came in yesterday for a blood test, if u are terrified of needles and are prone to fainting like me honestly this is the best place to come they are so lovely here. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she talked me through the whole situation and was very helpful thankyou so much for be so kind and understanding not like other places.

This practice is excellent. There's lots of female doctors too and all the doctors who I have had appointments with have been thorough with my ailments. I definitely have never felt rushed. Reception staff are helpful and efficient. Clean, bright, large waiting room with comfortable seats. Easy parking.

First visit there today, the reception staff and the doctor were both excellent, really friendly and professional. I saw Dr Ramyaa Muruganandah, she has a natural care and empathy about her. Would highly recommend her as a great female doctor.

Have been a patient here for almost 6 years now, and the care is always exceptional.
Shame Dr Ben Carison left as he was a fantastic, caring, and knowledgable GP. His patients are lucky wherever he is!
With Dr Carison no longer available, was lucky to have Dr Cindy Holden for this year, and she is hands down the best GP I have ever had. Shame she’s currently only consulting in the pregnancy clinic, her care and expertise will be greatly missed in this time.

South Yarra Medical is the best GP practice in town, and I’m confident the next GP taking over my care will be good too.
NOTE TO SY MEDICAL: Reception and waiting area is clean and welcoming, HOWEVER, the toilets are beyond shocking and in urgent need of renovation. The only thing that detracts from this wonderful place unfortunately, and toilets say a lot about an establishment. Is there any plan to refurbish these facilities?

After many years of avoiding going to the doctors after several bad experiences, I extensively researched and found South Yarra Medical. It is without a doubt the best practice I’ve been to, and the staff there were excellent in recommending a doctor suitable to my needs.

Dr Robert was professional, efficient and communicated so effectively with knowledge that all my thoughts and issues are now resolved and I now have peace of mind. I couldn’t highly recommend a better service than what I have received from him and the team at South Yarra Medical. A true example of what a practice should be.

So lucky so have this clinic locally. The doctors are always knowledgeable, kind and most importantly on time. They have a large range of availability and open times to accomodate busy schedules. Cannot speak highly enough. So grateful to have a reliable local clinic that I can trust.

Last week was my first time attending the clinic and can honestly say, being a new patient I had the most wonderful experience at South Yarra medical. Greeted with the most lovely staff, and can not say enough how amazing Dr Emma was. The first time I’ve felt heard and understood by a GP, and was provided so much support and guidance around my ongoing treatment. I can not recommend this clinic enough!! 12/10

I have been going to this clinic for the past 3 years. The doctors are very professional and most importantly compassionate and empathetic. I was bale to get a diagnosis with one of the GPs, after not being able to do so with multiple doctors at various clinics for many years.

Got great care and advice from Dr Lucas. Minimal wait time and my experience was thorough and professional medical centre . Recommended

Dr Dorothy has been my GP for a year now since my move from GC, with not having a social support structure she has provided me the best medical care I’ve ever received, she continuously has shown me support, authentically caring and she was the first Dr I’ve ever been able to open up to.

Thank you to Dr Dorothy, Dr McCubbin and the SYM Team for handling my jokes, and watch me go from running in late, to how you know me as a patient now.

I cannot express enough gratitude to you all and I don’t think I’ll be able to repay you for what you all have done for me, but I guess this is a start🌈🐝.
