Flavours of Mekong Vietnamese & Southeast Asian cuisine

Came here for lunch at 12pm on Friday and was pleasantly greeted by a very friendly man, who I think is the owner. Place wasn't packed then, only one table occupied but within 30 mins the place filled up.

We ordered the tom yum noodle and bun bo hue, also Vietnamese ice coffee. We really enjoyed our meal, soup was delicious and hot, noodles were soft yet bouncy, ice coffee was strong and sweet. The spice was just the right kick although menu shows two chillies.

The owner took the time to explain the dishes to me when I asked how to pronounce them. Very nice friendly guy! I certainly will be back, this restaurant ticked all the right boxes.

A beautiful family owned restaurant. Delicious Vietnamese and South Eastern Asian cuisine. Loved the live mud crab dish, the flavour was amazing, smooth and succulent flesh. All the food we ordered was delicious. The owner Francis is so friendly and recommended the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten! Lots of different types of Asian dishes to choose from, I will have to come back to try all the other dishes. Highly recommended!

We went through many google searches for south Asian restaurants and we tried this one for the first time. Not restaurant is easy to find with lots of car park space at the back of the restaurant (near the train station) and we ordered the Rare Beef Pho, Pineapple fried rice and the chicken. (With coconut drink)

All the dishes were nicely cooked to right portion for family and taste just right for everyone.
Recommend to try with very decent price and good value for money.

I have been coming to this place for lunch take-out. I tried different Malaysian foods and was happy with the taste. Curry was quite thick for me to enjoy it and it wasn't that salty which was great. Basil in the fried rice needs some work to make it tastier. Overall it was such a good experience for me. The price is also competitive compared to other Malaysian restaurants.
I would definitely come back again for other meals. The owner and staff are also friendly. The good thing is that we are able to customize to suit our taste 🙂. Requested chilli cut as well without any issues.

Really enjoyed the food here. Everything is bursting with flavour! Great selection of Asian dishes from the Mekong river region, including Malaysian, Vietnamese etc. Portions are generous for the price, so if you go for several dishes like us you’ll probably have plenty to take home too :) service was very friendly, highly recommended and will be back soon!

Lovely food. Great chef's specials. Nice variety on the menu. Friendly and attentive staff and a great chat with the owner. Easy parking nearby. We dined in, but we will be back for both dine in and takeaway. Well worth trying.

Amazing food. Great service. Went to Mekong with our family and a group of friends. All the dishes we had were tasty. Favourites were the Ton Yum soup, Lemon Grass chicken, and the green curry chicken. Highly recommended place to go. Also. The staff were friendly and provided a high quality service.

Fantastic food. Francis was an amazing cook excellent host. We had a movie starting at 6:30 and wanted to see if we could eat prior. Francis allowed us pre order. All our food was great. Would highly recommend this place.

Fantastic Malaysian Chinese restaurant, especially the deep fried Mango Barramundi and the Jumbo King Prawns with tang hoon.
Great Malaysian and Thai food and host owner Francis will sure to take care of you. One of best curry laksa in Melbourne. The Ox tail soup is fantastic and flavorsome and tender. The rendang is also tops with generous portions and tender meat. The that mango prawn salad is also great with healthy greens and juicy prawns. Highly recommend these dishes and pricing is great too. One of top asian restaurants in Melbourne. The pork hock trotters was nicely cooked and tender, the prawns was spicy and full of flavour, the chicken ribs in tamarind sauce was delightful and sweet too. The moochi dessert is to die for and a definite must try. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere and setting was great. Sure to be back.

A lovely restaurant with staff passionate about their food. Food was prompt to come out and the pho was wholesome (especially with extra noodles). Diverse range of south East Asian cuisine means I'll be back often to try everything else! Expect more photos soon.

We had the best Vietnamese in a while here today. Spring rolls were cooked just right, and the Bun had the freshest pork (also perfectly cooked) I've tasted in ages in this frequent go-to dish. Fast friendly service and my LDC loved her seafood curry lahksa. We'll surely be back.

In short, excellent service and fabulous food!

We are a table of 9, big and small, elderly to young. I was craving for some mud crab fried vermicilli and voila, just like magic they cooked one up for me. Together with a few other of their signature dishes made for a scrumptious meal... really made my day! Would certainly, absolutely ... 101% go back again. Don't believe me? Go see it for yourself... it's worth it.

Recently moved into the area and this has quickly become my go-to restaurant for Asian cuisine. Everything I have ordered so far has been delicious. Portions are generous and the food is well priced. Moreover, service is very friendly especially the owner who makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend.
