Food + Brew

We tried Food + Brew for breakfast today. The team were super friendly and the venue had a decent layout. Food was well priced, presented and tasted delicious. As we won't be here often, we didn't use their loyalty program, However we chose to pay it forward and whoever the other Andrew is, enjoy your next beverage mate! (Great name BTW).

The smoothies are a bit mediocre but the food is excellent! We had burgers and calamari was absolutely brilliant. Onion rings are crunchy, not oily at all. The burger was full of flavour.

First time visiting…..Friendly staff on arrival. Prompt service with an awesome coffee/chai-latte.

The best calamari I've had so far and the brew burger was a big hit as well.
The staffs were really nice and friendly, good service and good food.

Is a lovely place, came in the morning for a coffee and recieved a wonderful smile and perfect drink👌. It all looks appetizing and the customer service was wonderful. The coffee was made by a beautiful young lady and she did wonderful☺.

Amazing food and coffee. Nicely decorated and heaps of sweets, sandwiches, muffins in the display cabinets. The house made hash browns were amazing and the fruit French toast was just as good. If you are anywhere near Smithton and want breakfast this is the first place to go.

It’s a lovely cafe with amazing vibe. The staff was friendly. We had coffee and vegetarian breakfast.

Food A1 and the brews to match. Fast friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere.

Had my wedding reception here on 31/10/2022. Absolutely fantastic, the staff on were just lovely and so accommodating, grazing table was spot on and super yummy (I loved the salami roses) and it was just a lovely relaxed environment for our mini reception. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much!

Very nice cafe. Really lovely staff and tasty food. Chairs were comfy for the spot we sat, too. Lighting was a little bright but hey, it was hard to find any fault.

Exceptional coffee that was so good I came back again. Hannah and Silva deserve any tips that are brought to them. Both are experienced in hospitality and very friendly, personable staff who served us exceptionally. I enjoyed the brew breaky burger and hope to enjoy it again if I ever return.

I dont think I've ever tasted a real brownie until I tried the ones here. Crusty outside and gooey inside. Awesome coffee too :)

I'm glad to say after some few years of work, this food and Brew has greatly improved their atmosphere, quality of food, the survice was warm and approchable.

The portion sizes were well balanced.
I'd say people need to visit this hidden gem. All round good balance.

Had a visit on Saturday and was impressed by the 3 workers yes 3 on a busy day . I was told when the guy took my order they was short a worker or two so may be a slightly long wait then normal. But both drink and meal was in good time the guy who took my order was almost running he was goin that fast to keep people happy . And the other two moving fast in the kitchen also well done to them 3 . I hope the boss was impressed by ur work that day

Fabulous lunch, had the Burger which was wonderful and the bun was perfect, not too heavy and not too light. My partner had the caesar salad which she said was just as flavoursome. Excellent coffee and a wide range of drinks both hot and cold. All on all, a wonderful full lunch. Water is horrible do most likely just kept in refrigerator for weeks and weeks, really the water was horrible but still 5 stars because we went for lunch mot water. Lastly, super friendly staff who are more than happy to help, thanks for a wonderful lunch.

A pleasant surprise being recommended by a friend as my family were staying locally for a couple of days for competitions and the friend suggested this place. After ordering breakfast and coffees, I found myself enjoying parts of dining that I have missed in a long time.

Simple things such as, lovely customer service, having an exposed food prep area/kitchen from certain tables to be able to show off how they make their meals, the effort of prep in the food and speed it was brought out. I couldn’t complain about a thing. A family member ordered a yoghurt bowl (can’t remember the exact name off the menu), and each fruit was chopped up in bite sized pieces around the outside of the bowl and presented beautifully. The prep and effort into a simple meal didn’t go unnoticed and it was so nice to see the care of the food going out to customers.

Food & service was fantastic, lots of great options. Food and drink came quickly, and every mouthful was delicious!
Catered perfectly to Coeliac & egg allergy.
