Lovely little place. Staff are very polite.
Very helpful and informative with their menu.
Food is delicious and still hot when brought to our table. We have been in some places, and it's been nearly cold when given.
It's a must to stop in at and grab a bite

First was an egg n bacon roll, and mine was zucchini and corn fritters with 2 fried mushrooms and relish 🤩
Plus, our in-house ice coffees

This little cafe is totally understated, the food is sooooo good I can’t believe it was legal 😋highly recommend the pork belly. I would have taken more food photos, but couldn’t wait to eat it 😂

Beautiful meals with lovely hosts. The food is amazing here and the atmosphere is lovely. Eat inside or outside in the sunshine. Well priced and friendly staff make the experience wholesome. You can even take your dog with you if you sit outside.

Came here for breakfast and was the best so far in Burnie we have been to. Then they mentioned a full "Christmas in July" dégustation menu they were putting on which sounded great. And it was! Oysters were best I've ever had anywhere. Great to support a quality local business going out of its way to do something special and different.

This awesome business had very affordable options and great pricing. The staff was so friendly and made sure all our needs were met. they welcomed us as soon as we came in and had us seated. We came in for a bacon and egg roll and a milkshake. From the first look at the portion and the ingredients i knew this was going to be enjoyable! The bacon was very high quality and the relish was to die for! I recommend this place a trillion times over.

Nice cafe, super friendly staff, place was busy but waiting time wasn't excessive, good food options with an all day breakfast and a specials menu. Our choices were well presented, larger size meals, very tasty and at reasonable prices. Hope to be back soon.

Carol and Pete go out of their way to please. Friendly happy place with good food and excellent coffee. No problem providing oat milk and in a proper latte glass! Dogs welcome.and even get treats🐶

Fantastic lunch and service! Had the gnocchi which was hand made and melted in my mouth, stunning.

My wife had the croquettes and they were fresh and balanced, making for a great experience.

The coffee and tea were also spot on, with fresh loose leaf tea and son of a gun coffee beans.

Nice area to sit outside and eat fine food, great coffee and friendly service. Tucked away we came across Palate while walking around taking lane ways.
The freshness flavours and attention to detail has us eating here again when travelling.
Wheelchair friendly with accessible toilets nearby as well.

Simply mouth watering food that is beautifully presented. The scallops were just unbelievable. The lemon mayo, pickled cucumber, and avocado salad was a perfect combination.

It actually took me back to episodes New Zealand’s of Hunger for the wild as each flavour combination hit my palate.

Update 13th, best meal of the year, second only to dinner by Heston, truly fabulous food. Chef nails it completely, and not let down by service in any way. Deserves 6 stars.

Excellent food, open on a Sunday and great coffee. Was very busy but food was quickly served and friendly staff. A fabulous little Cafe tucked away in a nice quiet are in the city. Close to tge shops for a coffee, breakfast or lunch.
