Triabunna Takeaway

Friendly service, good selection of takeaway goods but very well prepared. Hot chips are awesome, fluffy on the inside crunchy outside. Plenty of seating indoor and well maintained. Bathroom is out of order but there is one at the laundromat across the road. Probably should give them a review as well as it was well maintained as well. Oh and plenty of chicken salt.

Classic Aussie fish and chip shop, Fisherman's Basket was great value and PERFECTLY cooked, a milkbar-style selection of lollies, and great sense of community about the place.

We had a delightful meal - a mini catch & a piece of flake.
All our food’s batter was crispy & not greasy.
The staff were all friendly & accommodating

Great place, don’t usually review but I really enjoyed the food here. Reasonably priced and delicious. Mexican burger was great, awesome coffee and the girlfriend loved the veggie burger for all you vegetarians out there.

Wow, today I believe I purchased the best fish and chips on sale in Tasmania. I have tried most establishments around Tasmania for Fish and Chip takeaway and up until now rated Muirs amongst the best but now I have to say Triabunna Takeaway pips Muirs at the winning post! Triabunna Takeaway had a crisp, crunchy batter with no hint of oil residue, the scallops melted in your mouth, the Prawn cutlets ..they were so perfect I have run out of words then the chips!!!.....They were a symphony on their own! Normally the chips are a compliment to the fish...but here the fish compliments the chips! The trip to Triabunna was worth it just to taste those chips!! My biggest worry now...I will always be comparing future fish and chips I purchase, with those from Triabunna Takeaway ..for me they have set a new standard!

Great service, good place to stop by for a quick bite if you're driving for a longer time. Spacious parking for the customers at the back, small bench to eat outside at the front. Good coffee, good, thick crust pizza with awesome local sausage.

I really enjoyed the meal. We had the Fisherman's Basket, everything was fresh and delicious. Served quickly and reasonably priced. I really appreciate the free Destination Charger for customers. Overall, great experience, highly recommended.

Food was fresh, and cooked just after we ordered. We ordered flake and chips, it was delicious and generous. The Cashier was friendly and offered a great customer service.

The fish was cooked to perfection nice fresh batter and chips. The menu has good choices, burgers, toasted sandwiches and fish also pizza and cakes. Eat in or out. Definitely recommend

We came here as a large group on Saturday around mid-day

The fish fillets, fish cakes ,dim sims and chips and the iced coffee was delicious.

The food was made fresh after we ordered and the guy who took our order was nice and friendly too. We ordered fish and chips and it was so delicious after a long day of walking, it definitely hit the spot! They have other food available like pizza and burgers as well. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be sure to return.

I highly recommend the flathead. Nice staff. They also have a large and pleasant dining space if you want to eat in.

The best place to buy sandwiches before taking the ferry to Maria island. Sandwiches were delicious, full of ham and chicken, and the friendly owner even made a fresh vegetarian sandwich on request.
