This place is the best for a feed & a pint. Great atmosphere, great pizza & great beers.

Right next door to the Semaphore Odeon is this cosy and funky specially beer and pizza bar. With three main areas to sit either out the front, inside where the bar is or out the back in the beer garden each section has its own unique vibe, either way you can't go wrong.
They have a great range of locally made beers and ciders some of which are on tap. All their staff are great and their wood oven pizzas are to die for!! Definitely recommend.

Sweet Amber is a fantastic spot to escape the heat. There's a neat beer garden tucked away at the back with a great selection of of tap beers and crafty bottles to select. Not to mention daily specials.

Tuesday offers a 2-for-1 toasties and these are great snack with a drink.

We had part of the beer garden booked for a friend's going away party. They had the fire and heaters going for us and it was a great night!

The first time I came here I though it was awesome. They do this amazing ploughman's board which was delicious. The beer is nothing to wrote home about in terms of the vast craft beer market in Australia at the moment but there is still plenty of choice even for non beer drinkers (you should be ashamed if you're one of those).

The second time I came they did this amazing event where they allowed dogs to come. Sweet Amber do this more! I would come to your bar every weekend if there was an event where I was freely allowed to pat other people's dogs.

Good selection of beers on tap - mostly local. Funky retro vibe. Will try the pizzas next time.....

Fantastic place that is welcoming and serves up a great pizza to go with a variety of locally made beers. The beer garden is especially nice at night and they seem to crank some great tunes.

I love beer. Do you love beer? This place loves beer. Do you fancy a floral IPA, a chocolatey stout or a hoppy bitter? Ask the staff, they'll point you to the right beer. Taps change regularly so there's always something new to try. With craft beer being craft beer the tab can run pretty high if your not careful. But sometimes it's worth the price... In fact most of the time.

Great little beer cafe with real wood oven pizzas. I walked in for a beer but the firey smell and amazing line up of brews enticed me to stay longer. Nice staff and affordable. Support your locals!

Had my work “going away” drinks here and really enjoyed it. Beer selection was great and prices were more than reasonable. The staff are super friendly and good to chat to. Looking forward to coming back soon!
