Gin-Ja

Rocked up in the middle of the day for lunch and spotted this place; really glad we wandered in!
Had a few different gins (recommended by the legendary wait staff) and ordered a handful of things from the daily special menu. There's no wrong choice here, the food is phenomenal.
To cap off the meal, Aaron came out of the kitchen for a chat and a laugh, just an awesome experience.

Great little place to enjoy a cocktail and a great selection of dumplings. We had 4 different varieties and they were all delicious and well presented. All of the other food coming out looked deliciosu as well

It was such a splendid time chilling in this place! Went on my own & tried out gin tasting (which btw was not in the menu, but they happily arranged one for me upon request). The food is incredible!!! And the service were superb! Hands down! Can’t wait to be back & try out more of their offering.

I recently discovered Gin-Ja in Noosaville, just off Gympie Terrace, and it has quickly become a favorite spot. Aaron, the owner/chef, is not only a culinary maestro but also a warm host, taking the time to introduce himself.

The food that emerges from his kitchen deserves a solid 5 stars – each dish and accompanying sauce are a testament to his culinary prowess. What's even more impressive is the personal touch he added when my family visited. With three children under 6, Aaron went out of his way to create a delicious off-menu dish for them. My 4-year-old son even declared, "These are the best prawns ever."

Returning last night with my wife, we were treated to another stellar experience. Aaron delighted us with new flavors he had been experimenting with. The cocktails were divine, and as a non-drinker, I appreciated the availability of non-alcoholic gin.

I can't emphasize enough how exceptional Gin-Ja is – from the impeccable dishes to the genuine hospitality. Aaron's dedication to providing a top-notch dining experience truly sets this place apart. It's a culinary haven that I wholeheartedly recommend, and my family and I look forward to many more visits. Cheers to Gin-Ja for consistently exceeding expectations!

Having heard my husband's enthusiastic praise for Gin-Ja in Noosaville, I had the pleasure of experiencing it myself last night, and I must say, it lived up to every bit of the hype.

Walking into Gin-Ja, we were greeted by Aaron, the owner/chef, who effortlessly made us feel welcomed. The ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be a culinary delight. The dishes that emerged from Aaron's kitchen were nothing short of exceptional – each one a testament to his culinary mastery.

What struck me most was the personal touch that my husband had mentioned. Despite not being there during his previous visit, I could sense the warmth and dedication in every aspect of our dining experience. From the meticulously crafted dishes to the thoughtful service, it was evident that Gin-Ja goes above and beyond to make patrons feel valued.

The creativity displayed in the menu was impressive, with Aaron introducing us to new and exciting flavors.
The cocktails were a delightful complement to the meal, and I appreciated the attention to detail, and being able to share a drink with my husband with the availability of non-alcoholic options for him.

Gin-Ja has undoubtedly earned its place as one of our favorite dining spots. It's a testament to Aaron's commitment to delivering not just a meal but an unforgettable experience.
My first visit won't be my last, and I look forward to returning to try more of what Gin-Ja has to offer. A sincere thank you to the team for consistently exceeding expectations!

A wonderful mixed up restaurant with loads of sharing options. Very flexible with the portion sizes for odd sized groups. Have been here twice in a week. Delicious! The bao buns look like they belong in the Flintstones!!!

It is, however, a very small place so book ahead. Oh, and great cocktails. Yeah, just good. Go here!

Oh... and the nim jam with the spring rolls is uhmazing!

It had been 2 years since i visited this restaurant. After an offshore fishing charter I thought i would drop in for a lazy long lunch. Thankfully Aaron was still at the burners crafting amazing morsels of food. The place was quiet as Noosaville had still not shifted into Holiday crowd mode. If this place had Aircon i would have stayed longer after devouring 3 dishes. Another tasty lunch experince. Will return! Had to edit my review. I returned for dinner with my wife and 2 colleagues who were at a seminar in Noosa. Thankfully being a party of 4 we could order more variety of dishes. Both Andy and Emmerson raved about the flavours in the dishes we had combined with numerous craft beers. The staff and Aaron provided fantastic service and went out of their way to make it a special night! Definetely will return soon. Thanks guys.

Best veggie spring rolls I've ever had. Excellent baos, both veggie and brisket. Also loved their spice gin balloon. Staff were so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Thank you so much for a great weekend. We were very well looked after on Friday and Saturday night in Noosaville. Gin cocktails are amazing. Equally amazing are the dumplings and I love a good spin of the wheel to see which local gin I'll try next! Such a fun place. Highly recommend.

We came late and the chef came out and found us a table and sent out some prawn crackers and Tom Yum soup while we waited to order, which was AMAZING. The staff are super friendly and attentive, gin is amazing, we tried the Noosa Brewery gin and it was so smooth! The food is incredible, so well balanced. I’ve been to a lot of street food/dumpling/gin places and this one tops the lot. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and providing an epic food and drink experience! 10/10

We LOVED Gin-Ja!! It was the nicest eating experience we have had in so long. The staff were beyond lovely and were so friendly and involving to our two toddlers too, making sure any menu alterations were available incase the kids couldn’t tolerate the spice.
They started with two complimentary entrees, a bowl of Edamame and some prawn crackers which was lovely. The chef came out and dropped them off and introduced himself and had a chat quick chat. The staff were so friendly and the service was so quick, the food and the drinks came out in a flash. We ordered Satay chicken, pork and prawn shumai, bao buns, rice and a curry of the day which was a green curry. All of it was so flavourful, delicious and the plating was gorgeous. It was the nicest food I have had in awhile. Even down to the slaw that came out with the satay chicken. Each plate was an absolute hit! And the Gin cocktails were delicious! I had a classic gin balloon, a bees knees gin cocktail and they were both so yum!
We will 10/10 be back and make it a must stop in whenever we are in Noosa!! Great work guys, can’t wait to visit again.

We enjoyed one of the freshest seafood platters we have ever had. The flavours were exquisite and presentation was of the highest level. The whole experience from the welcome, through each course was professional, friendly and delicious. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. Go Team Ginja!

Beautiful Food! Best meal in Noosa for a long time by far. Aaron the chef went above and beyond to make a meal for our 4 year old son and came to chat to him and got him excited about food. All of the meals were excellent and the gin cocktail was great. Service was fantastic.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday on Wednesday, food was top notch and staff were amazing!! Even the chef came out and said happy birthday. Felt well taken care of, will definitely be back:)
